This new azo dye 3-((2-(1H-indol-3-yl) ethyl) diazenyl) quinoline-2-ol was subsequently used to prepare a series of complexes with the metal ions of Cr+3, Cu+2, VO+2, Mn+2and Mo+6. The compounds identified by 1H and 13C-NMR, FT-IR, UV-Vis, mass spectroscopy, as well as TGA, DSC, and C.H.N., conductivity, magnetic susceptibility, metal and chlorine content. The results showed that the ligand behaves in a bidantate, and that the complexes gave octahedral, excepting for VO+2 square pyramid was given, that all complexes are non-electrolytes. The effectiveness of mention the compounds in inhibiting free radicals was evaluated by the ability to act as an antioxidant was measured using DPPH as a free radical and gallic acid as a standard substance, the IC50 value was determined, because the ligand was found to have a higher ability to inhibit free radicals, and the ability to inhibit the complexes varied according to the IC50 value. The anti-breast cancer efficacy of the compounds was evaluated at five concentrations each, the results showed that the IC50 value for ligand was 49.86 µg/mL, while the Mo complex gave 25.48 µg/mL, Cu complex gave 123.8 µg/mL, meaning that the Mo-complex gave a higher inhibition value than ligand and Cu. Abstract
This research aims to analyze the reality of the production process in an assembly line Cars (RUNNA) in the public company for the automotive industry / Alexandria through the use of some Lean production tools, and data were collected through permanence in the company to identify the problems of the line in order to find appropriate to adopt some Lean production tools solutions, and results showed the presence of Lead time in some stations, which is reflected on the customer's waiting time to get the car, as well as some of the problems existing in the car produced such as high temperature of the car, as the company does not take into account customer preferences,

Traditional metformin therapy improves insulin sensitivity, while newer dual incretin agonists, such as tirzepatide, may offer broader metabolic and ovarian protection. The objective of this study is to investigate whether tirzepatide could alter hormonal parameters, metabolism, inflammation, and histopathology of a testosterone propionate–induced PCOS rat model compared with metformin. Thirty prepubertal female Wistar rats were divided into five groups (n = 6). PCOS was induced by testosterone propionate (1

We investigated spatial patterns, socioeconomic determinants and health system factors related to child mortality, Using data from the Iraqi Ministry of Health in 2022. We uncovered significant disparities across the regions, where the highest death rate in Al Diwaniyah province was 33.1 per 1000 and dropped to 16.6 per 1000 live births in al-Muthanna province. An exhaustive statistical analysis brought to the fore the main factors that accounted for such a variation, that is to say population density in rural a

A finite difference approach is suggested to discretize the hyperbolic fourth-order equation. A stability analysis for the proposed scheme is also provided. The indirect problem is the minimization of the misfit function. The goal of the minimization algorithm is to reduce the gap between the measured (noisy) data and the numerical computed solution provided by the model. To achieve stable results, Tikhonov’s regularization technique is employed, and two numerical test examples are shown to illustrate the suggested scheme's reliabilit

Treatment of greywater can range from uncomplicated coarse filtration to advanced biological treatment. This article presents a simple design of a small scale greywater treatment plant, which is a series of physical and natural processes including screening, aeration, sedimentation, and filtration using granular activated carbon filter and differentiates its performance with sand filter. The performance of these units with the dual filter media of (activated carbon with sand) in treatment of greywater from Iraqi house in Baghdad city during 2019 and that collected from several points including washbasins, kitchen si

Show MoreLead-acid batteries have been used increasingly in recent years in solar power systems, especially in homes and small businesses, due to their cheapness and advanced development in manufacturing them. However, these batteries have low voltages and low capacities, to increase voltage and capacities, they need to be connected in series and parallel. Whether they are connected in series or parallel, their voltages and capacities must be equal otherwise the quality of service will be degraded. The fact that these different voltages are inherent in their manufacturing, but these unbalanced voltages can be controlled. Using a switched capacitor is a method that was used in many methods for balancing voltages, but their respons
