This work proposes a new video buffer framework (VBF) to acquire a favorable quality of experience (QoE) for video streaming in cellular networks. The proposed framework consists of three main parts: client selection algorithm, categorization method, and distribution mechanism. The client selection algorithm was named independent client selection algorithm (ICSA), which is proposed to select the best clients who have less interfering effects on video quality and recognize the clients’ urgency based on buffer occupancy level. In the categorization method, each frame in the video buffer is given a specific number for better estimation of the playout outage probability, so it can efficiently handle so many frames from different videos at different bitrates. Meanwhile, at the proposed distribution mechanism, a predetermined threshold value is selected for lower and upper levels of playout outage probability. Then, the control unit at the base station will distribute the radio resources and decide the minimum rate requirement based on clients’ urgency categories. Simulation results showed that the VBF grantees fairness of resources distribution among different clients within the same cellular network while minimizing the interruption duration and controlling the video buffer at an acceptable level. Also, the results showed that the system throughput of the proposed framework outperforms other existing algorithms such as playout buffer and discontinuous reception aware scheduling (PBDAS), maximum carrier-to-interface ratio (MAX-CIR), and proportional fair (PF) due to enhancing the quality of experience for video streaming by increasing the radio resources in fairness manner.
he Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing is a promising technology for the Next Generation Networks. This technique was selected because of the flexibility for the various parameters, high spectral efficiency, and immunity to ISI. The OFDM technique suffers from significant digital signal processing, especially inside the Inverse/ Fast Fourier Transform IFFT/FFT. This part is used to perform the orthogonality/De-orthogonality between the subcarriers which the important part of the OFDM system. Therefore, it is important to understand the parameter effects on the increase or to decrease the FPGA power consumption for the IFFT/FFT. This thesis is focusing on the FPGA power consumption of the IFFT/FFT uses in the OFDM system. This researc

The researcher utilized the quasi-experimental approach based on (the pre/post designing) of two groups: experimental and control. As for tools: a test of scientific thinking prepared by the researcher that proved its verification of their validity and reliability. The test applied on a random sample of (66) students, divided into two groups: (34) experimental, and (32) control. The results showed that the experimental group outperformed the control group in the post-application of the scientific thinking test, In each skill separately, and in the total skills. In this study, the vegetation index which has been applied known as the Stress Related Vegetation Index (STVI) on in the area around the Euphrates River and part of Al-Habbaniyah lake which located at western side of the river in Ramadi city, Al-Anbar province at Iraq to study the vegetation cover changes and detect the areas of changes, using two satellite sensors multispectral images such as TM and ALI, after geometric correction procedure to rectifying these images. The STVI-4 index result was the best than other vegetation indices (STVI-1 and STVI-3) to discriminate the vegetable cover distribution. The diff

As treatment, usually surgery or physiotherapyare recommended, but they are expensive and may cause side effects. Apracticalcourse of treatment without negative side effects and with permanent positive effects is lacking. Objective: To suggest a practical course of treatment, introduced by a licensed Yoga coach who is experienced in this field, and through thatto shed a light on yoga as treatment for MSD. The hypothesis is that yoga may decrease the pain among individuals with MSD. Methods: This hypothesis is presented based on the practical techniques used in Yoga including body relaxation and breathing awareness (2 minutes & 3 minutes r

Inlet throttled systems have good performance in addition to their high efficiency compared to traditional valve-controlled systems. The flow in the proposed system is adjusted by a valve that is positioned at the pump inlet with the purpose of reducing the energy loses across the valve. This regulated flow is used then to control the actuator angular velocity. The system was modeled and the open loop stability and performance were studied. In order to improve the system performance, proportional-integral-derivative (PID) and H-infinity controllers have been designed. The multiplicative un
