Caffeine (1,3,7-trimethylxanthine), which is the most widely consumed stimulant in the world, had been isolated and estimated gravimetrically in fifteen  different commercial kinds of tea found in the Iraqi market.The kinds of tea were chosen according to their differences in the degree of fermentation and the method of processing i.e. black , gray and  green . In this paper, a relationship between the liquid limit and the coefficient of consolidation of Iraqi soils are studied. The samples of soil used in study are undisturbed silty clay. These samples are taken from different locations and depths of Middle and South of Iraq by cooperation with Consulting Engineering Bureau- University of Baghdad- College of Engineering. were synthesized by reaction of NaBH4 with indole -3- acetic acid (IAA) . The
coordination properties of ligands were studied with Co(II) , Ni(II) , Cu(II) and
Pt(IV) ions. Characterization and structural aspects of the prepared compounds were
elucidated by 1HNMR, FTIR electronic spectra, magnetic susceptibility, elemental
