Diabetes mellitus is a metabolic chronic disease, with global estimation increase in patient (around 100 million in 2030).The aim of the current study is to investigate vitamin D, C-reactive protein and estradiol levels in pre and postmenopausal Iraqi women with type 2 diabetes (T2MD).A total of 176 female distributed into two groups: the first included 90 women withT2MD (43 pre and 47 post-menopausal); the second group included 86 healthy subjects (41 pre and 45 postmenopausal) considered as control. This study has shown that women in premenopausal (20-40 years) had highly significant difference in the estradiol and vitamin D levels in diabetes subjects (62.192 ± 17.643pg/ml, 10.522 ± 1.958ng/ml) compared with healthy (131.793 ± 18.003, 28.573 ± 12.302) respectively, also significant difference in CRP level (8.485 ± 4.318) was indicated compared with non-diabetes (4.811 ± 3.778pg/ml) and there was significant increase in body mass index in diabetes compared to healthy. Postmenopausal female results showed significant difference inestradiol and vitamin D which reached (44.82407 ± 19.626pg/ml, 9.830 ± 5.845ng/ml) compared with healthy (122.531 ± 15.738pg/ml, 25.492 ± 10.967ng/ml) respectively, body mass index showed significant increase also, however, there was no difference in CRP level. A significant correlation was observed between CRP and estradiol level in premenopausal women, however, there was no significant in others factors.the search found high correlation of CRP and estrogen in type 2 diabetes compared with healthy women.

Interleukin-6 (IL-6) is a proinflammatory cytokine implicated in the immunopathogenesis of tuberculosis (TB). TB is recognized worldwide as an important public health issue. To study the relationship between the age of patients with pulmonary TB and serum IL-6 levels, from the other hand, the severity of this disease with IL-6 levels. Thirteen isolates were collected from various clinical sources during the periodfrom 22/10/2017 to 22/12/2017. All the isolates were diagnosed based on the microscopic and biochemical propertiesby Vitek-2 Compact system. All isolates formed biofilm 100%, with 30% of isolatesbiofilm produced strongly and 70% on medium. The results of the present study have shown the presence of Curli fimbriae genes in E. cloacae bacteria from cases of urinary tract infections, infected patient with blood bacteremia and inflammation of wounds.
