Estimation of trip attraction and analyzing its main influencing factors are powerful for offering different classifications for business districts and presenting recommendations for improving attractiveness in long term. This is beneficial for designing transportation facilities and infrastructures. The paper presents the prediction of trip attraction using an artificial intelligence technology due to the profits that the technology can possess in shortening time, lowering expenses and saving effort. The new model has utilized six input parameters that have not been considered previously within the area of Nasiriyah city including; age and educational level of the passengers, mode of transport that the passengers use, purpose of the trip, frequency of the weekly visit, and the distance towards the central business district. In this study, the independences - trip attraction data of 224 sets are collected through field observations and home interviews within the area. Neural Network Toolbox in MATLAB is utilized, which is dealt with the six key independences as input whereas with the trip attraction as the output desired to be expected. The model has been generated by adoption of twenty-five artificial neurons in only one single hidden layer. The outcomes have showed a good performance in predicting the trip attraction by utilizing artificial neural network. The coefficient of correlation for training is 0.81445 and for all, including training, testing, and validation, it is 0.73825. The study produces a reliable model as an alternative to complex, high-priced and/or time-consuming models.
The Main Outfall drain pumping station in Nassiriyah is an important part in operation system of the Main Outfall Drain (MOD) where it reduces the water levels in the U/S area of its and converted through Syphon freely under the Euphrates, its consists of several parts: U/S Basin, Station Building which contains 12 pumps, and Head Basin with Syphon, This station suffers from high levels especially in D/S area due to the current situation which is represented by establishing of dyke with pipes on MOD which located at 24 km from D/S of pumping station and Al-Khamisiyah Canal which located at 2.3 km from the U/S of dyke which feeds(Al Hammar Marsh) during drought season, several scenarios were adopted in order to expl

Certain appropriate models (sprawling growth patterns) have been adopted to plan this city, and tables and a future map have been prepared to arrange this city. Land uses for public services will be proposed for adopted case(Aziziyah in Kut / Wasit Governorate). This paper describes a specific application of GIS functionalities for spatial planning analysis, examines the breadth of GIS and attempts to address the analytical part’s limitations in planning studies. The study concluded, through high-resolution visuals, to the possibility of determining th

The nonlinearities in the system come from the quasi steady aerodynamic model and torsional spring in pitch direction. Time domain simulations are used to examine the dynamic aero elastic instabilities of the system (e.g. the onset of flutter and limit cycle oscillation, LCO). The structure of the controller consists of two models :the modified Elman neural network (MENN) and the feed forward multi-layer Perceptron (MLP). The MENN model is trained with off-line and on-line stages to guarantee that the outputs of the model accurately represent the plunge and pitch motion of the wing and this neural model acts as the identifier. After the defeat of the military terrorist organization "ISIS" and the fall of the throne of its alleged state in the Iraqi city of Nineveh, in Syrian Baghouz, and the end of its control over the land, the Syrian camps, especially "Al-Hol" camp, emerge as an incubator for the ideology of the terrorist organization "ISIS" and a vital base for its consolidation and dissemination, which includes (68,000- 73,000) people. During the years following the military defeat of (ISIS), the camp witnesses the spread of extremist ideas widely at the hands of its residents, including the families of the organizations dead's, extremist detainees, and those who deal with it, taking advantage of the deterioration of the environmental, se

The research study focused on the need to clarify the relationship between the Websites of Iraqi Newspapers and their roles in covering the internal crises in Iraq. The selection of Iraqi websites for the newspapers Al-Zaman and Al-Sabah was adopted as one of the most important media with a wide audience; and as a model of hot news and continuous coverage of those sites since 2003 so far. As a result, this necessitated the emergence of new types of methods of editing and writing news stories related to Iraq.
Consequently, the enormous and rapidly changing amount of Iraq news, the process of preparing and creating news has become a complex industry

Likewise, the four jurists agreed that the one who articulates Takbiratul Ehram "The First Takbeer to Start Prayer" with the word: “Allahu Akbar,”; his Takbeer is correct, and they disagreed about the one who adds a word, or replaced it with another, where the m

Complex Networks are used to form complex phenomena into graph-based models that include nodes and edges connecting them. This representation can be analyzed by using network metrics such as node degree, clustering coefficient, path length, closeness, betweenness, density, and diameter, to mention a few. The topology of the complex interconnections of power grids is considered one of the challenges that can be faced in terms of understanding and analyzing them. Therefore, some countries use Complex Networks concepts to model their power grid networks. In this work, the Iraqi Power Grid network (IPG) has been modeled, visua

Show MoreIn this study, a traumatic spinal cord injury (TSCI) classification system is proposed using a convolutional neural network (CNN) technique with automatically learned features from electromyography (EMG) signals for a non-human primate (NHP) model. A comparison between the proposed classification system and a classical classification method (k-nearest neighbors, kNN) is also presented. Developing such an NHP model with a suitable assessment tool (i.e., classifier) is a crucial step in detecting the effect of TSCI using EMG, which is expected to be essential in the evaluation of the efficacy of new TSCI treatments. Intramuscular EMG data were collected from an agonist/antagonist tail muscle pair for the pre- and post-spinal cord lesi
