Theoretical Computation of Electron Density in Laser-Induced Carbon Plasma using Anisimov Model
...Show More Authors

In this work, electron number density calculated using Matlab program code with the writing algorithm of the program. Electron density was calculated using Anisimov model in a vacuum environment. The effect of spatial coordinates on the electron density was investigated in this study. It was found that the Z axis distance direction affects the electron number density (ne). There are many processes such as excitation; ionization and recombination within the plasma that possible affect the density of electrons. The results show that as Z axis distance increases electron number density decreases because of the recombination of electrons and ions at large distances from the target and the loss of thermal energy of the electrons in high distance with the progress of time and at a certain coordinate. The target is carbon (Graphite). The results were selected in four dimensions where three of them belong to spatial coordinates x, y, z and the fourth dimension is the electron density (ne).

Using Laser - induced breakdown spectroscopy system to determine the fertility of middle Iraqi soil
...Show More Authors

In this work, different soil samples were brought to study and analyse the element concentrations from different middle regions of Iraq (such as, Habbaniah, Garmah, Fallujah, and Tarmiah cities). Using laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) has been documented as an atomic emission spectroscopy (AES) technique.  Laser-induced plasma utilized to analyse elements in materials (gases, liquids, and solids) in order to analyse elements in materials (gases, liquids and solid). The Nd:YAG laser excitation source at 1064nm with pulse width and pulse duration of 9ns is used to generate power density of 5.5 x 1012 MW/mm2, with optical spectrum in the range 320 -740 nm.

The soils of Habbaniyah and Garmah citi

Modeling of Electron and Lattice Temperature Distribution Through Lifetime of Plasma Plume
...Show More Authors

When employing shorter (sub picosecond) laser pulses, in ablation kinetics the features appear which can no longer be described in the context of the conventional thermal model. Meanwhile, the ablation of materials with the aid of ultra-short (sub picosecond) laser pulses is applied for micromechanical processing. Physical mechanisms and theoretical models of laser ablation are discussed. Typical associated phenomena are qualitatively regarded and methods for studying them quantitatively are considered. Calculated results relevant to ablation kinetics for a number of substances are presented and compared with experimental data. Ultra-short laser ablation with two-temperature model was quantitatively investigated. A two-temperature model

Theoretical Study of the Photons Production Kinetic In Hot Quark-Gluon Plasma Matter
...Show More Authors

In this paper, we study flow of photons rate production in a quark-gluon QG plasma. General theory of this study is based on the field theory for hard interaction. The kinetic of photons production from hard interaction in charm with anti-top to production photons with gluon due to plasma phase at high temperatures (150, 200,250,300 and 350 MeV) .It has been investigated and studied using the postulate of quantum chromodynamic theory QCD .The photons production rate of hard photons with( GeV) are insensitive to strength coupling and depend mainly on the temperature of system T . Despite the different critical temperature (150 and 190MeV) comes, we find that same order of flow rate photons magnitude in both cases. In both cases, the f

Theoretical Study of Density Distributions and Size Radii of 8B and 17Ne
...Show More Authors

The proton, neutron and matter density distributions, the corresponding size radii and elastic electron scattering form factors of one-proton8B and two-proton 17Ne halo nuclei are calculated. The theoretical technique used to fulfill calculations is by assuming that both nuclei under study are composed of two main parts; the first is the compact core and the second is the unstable halo part. The single-particle radial wavefunctions of harmonic-oscillator (HO) and Woods-Saxon (WS) potentials are used to study core and halo parts, respectively. And other approach is studied by using HO potential for both core and halo parts, but using two HO size parameters for both supposed parts. The long ta

Laser Induced Fluorescence of 1,3 Benzodioxole in a Supersonic Jet
...Show More Authors

Fluorescence excitation by Nd:YAG pumped dye laser and single vibrational level fluorescence
spectra of 1,3 benzodioxole in a supersonic jet have been obtained and interpreted. The previous assignment of
the 0 0
0 band was incorrect. In addition, many other bands involving n20 and n19 vibrations of a2 symmetry were
confirmed. As far as a1 totally symmetric vibration is concerned. The n14 was assigned to be located in the fivemembered
ring whereas n13 seem to be located in the benzene ring as a result of the electronic transition in the
benzene ring which affects n13 and not n14 wavenumber.

Plasma Heating of Tokamak by Microwaves at Electron Cyclotron Resonance Heating (ECRH)
...Show More Authors

The brief description to the theory of propagation of electromagnetic waves in plasma was done. The cutoff and resonance regions have been showed. The principles of plasma heating at electron cyclotron resonance (ECRH) method have been mentioned. The numerical simulation to three different station: Tosca station in United Kingdom, ISX-B station in USA and T-10 station in Russia had been done. The optical depth and the friction of energy absorbed A have been calculated. The simulation results indicate that both and A are increase with size of the tokamak and it is possible to obtain full absorption in large tokamak.

Study of nuclear structure for carbon isotopes using local scale transformation technique in shell model
...Show More Authors

This work is devoted to study the properties of the ground states such as the root-mean square ( ) proton, charge, neutron and matter radii, nuclear density distributions and elastic electron scattering charge form factors for Carbon Isotopes (9C, 12C, 13C, 15C, 16C, 17C, 19C and 22C). The calculations are based on two approaches; the first is by applying the transformed harmonic-oscillator (THO) wavefunctions in local scale transformation (LST) to all nuclear subshells for only 9C, 12C, 13C and 22C. In the second approach, the 9C, 15C, 16C, 17C and 19C isotopes are studied by dividing the whole nuclear system into two parts; the first is the compact core part and the second is the halo part. The core and halo parts are studied using the
