Characterization, morphology and electrical properties of chemically deposited nanocrystalline PbS/Si heterojunction thin films
...Show More Authors

A nanocrystalline thin films of PbS with different thickness (400, 600)nm have been prepared successfully by chemical bath deposition technique on glass and Si substrates. The structure and morphology of these films were studied by X-ray diffraction and atomic force microscope. It shows that the structure is polycrystalline and the average crystallite size has been measured. The electrical properties of these films have been studied, it was observed that D.C conductivity at room temperature increases with the increase of thickness, From Hall measurements the conductivity for all samples of PbS films is p-type. Carrier's concentration, mobility and drift velocity increases with increasing of thickness. Also p-PbS/n-Si heterojunction has been fabricated at different thickness. The reverse bias capacitance was measured as a function of bias voltage, and it is indicated that these HJs are abrupt. The capacitance decreases with increasing the reverse bias, and fixed at high value of reverse bias voltage. The capacitance increases with increasing thickness. The width of depletion layers decreases with increases thickness. The value of highest built in potential has been measured. The current-voltage characteristic show that the forward current at dark condition varies exponentially with applied voltage and the junction was coinciding with recombination-tunneling model. The difference between forward and reverse current with applied voltage indicates that the junction has a high rectification characteristic. The value of ideality factor was varies between (1.821-1.715), From the I-V measurements under illumination, the photocurrent increased with increasing thickness. © 2016, National Institute R and D of Materials Physics. Preparation and Characterization of MoO3/TiO2 Catalysts for Hydroisomerization of n-Hexane
...Show More Authors

This research investigated the isomerization of n-hexane using molybdenum trioxide supported on titanium dioxide as a catalyst. The study explored the effect of liquid hourly space velocity (LHSV) and reaction temperature on n-hexane isomerization. The synthesized catalyst contained 20.46 wt.% molybdenum trioxide, with LHSV values ranging from 0.5 to 2 hr-1 and temperatures between 200oC and 275oC. The research aimed to identify the best reaction conditions, specifically temperature and LHSV, for maximizing the conversion of n-hexane to isomers. The results indicated that the highest conversion, 53.21%, occurred at an LHSV of 0.5 hr⁻¹ and a temperature of 275°C. The reaction followed first-order kinetics with an activation energ

Synthesis and Characterization of Ni2O3 as a Phase of Nickel Oxide Nanomaterial
...Show More Authors

Ni2O3 nanomaterial, a phase of nickel oxide, is synthesized by a simple chemical process. The pure raw materials used in the present process were nickel chloride hexahydrate NiCl2.6H2O and potassium hydroxide KOH by utilizing temperature at 250 oC for 2 hour.  The structural, morphological and optical properties of the synthesized specimens of Ni2O3 were investigated employing diverse techniques such as XRD, AFM, SEM and UV-Vis, respectively. The XRD technique confirms the presence of Ni2O3 nanomaterial with crystal size of 57.083 nm which indexing to the (2θ) of 31.82; this results revealed the Ni2O3 was a phase of nickel oxide with Nano structure. The synthesized Ni2O3 will be useful in manufacturng electrodes materials f

Time in the Cinema...The Two Films (The Knife and The Deceived) -A Model: كريمة ناوي
...Show More Authors

This study deals with the time property in the cinema through two films: (The Knife) directed by Khalid Hamada and (The Deceived) directed by Tawfiq Saleh. These two films were excerpted by the cinema from two novels of the Palestinian writer Ghassan Kanafani, the first is from the novel (What is Left for You) and the second is from the novel (Men in the Sun).  If the Palestinian novel has imposed its presence on the Arab creative scene through a group of novelists who took it upon themselves to communicate their cause to the world,   the Palestinian cinema has been far from being a purely Palestinian, because many of the cinematic works have been provided by Arab countries on the issue, while this cinema is still seeking

Roseomonas gilardii NCTC 13290 Strain Pigment Extraction and Characterization
...Show More Authors

Introduction: The study was intended for Roseomonas gilardii NTCC 13290 strain pigment extraction and characterization. Methodology: The pigment-producing bacterial were cultured on Columbia blood agar and nutrient media agar. Then the pigments were extracted by ethanol. The candidate pigment was further characterized by different biotechnological techniques: UV-Vis spectroscopy, FT-IR to analyze the functional group of the targeted pigment, and TLC media. Results: The cultivation of Roseomonas gilardii on media showed pink color and nearly runny texture. The bacterial colonies were microscopically gram stained and examined, the R. gilardii was seen as coccobacillus colonies that mostly form pairs arranged as short chains. The R. gilardii b

Compatibility between Hydraulic and Mechanical Properties of Ceramic Water Filters
...Show More Authors

In this paper, ceramic water filters were produced by using ten mixtures of different ratios of red clay and sawdust under different production conditions. The physical properties of these filters were tested. The production conditions include five press pressures ranged from 10 to 50MPa and a firing schedule having three different final temperatures of 1000, 1070, and 1100˚C. The tests results of the physical properties were used to obtain best compatibility between the hydraulic and the mechanical properties of these filters. Results showed that as the press pressure and the firing temperature are increased, the bulk density and the compressive and bending strengths of the produced filters are increased, while, the porosity and absorp

Fuzzy Real Pre-Hilbert Space and Some of Their Properties
...Show More Authors

In this work, two different structures are proposed which is fuzzy real normed space (FRNS) and fuzzy real Pre-Hilbert space (FRPHS). The basic concept of fuzzy norm on a real linear space is first presented to construct  space, which is a FRNS with some modification of the definition introduced by G. Rano and T. Bag. The structure of fuzzy real Pre-Hilbert space (FRPHS) is then presented which is based on the structure of FRNS. Then, some of the properties and related concepts for the suggested space FRN such as -neighborhood, closure of the set  named , the necessary condition for separable, fuzzy linear manifold (FLM) are discussed. The definition for a fuzzy seminorm on  is also introduced with the prove that a fuzzy seminorm on
