Series of new complexes of the type [M2 (L)Cl4 ] are prepared from the new ligand[N1 ,N4 -bis(benzo[d]thiazol-2- yl)succinamide (L) derived from ethan-1,2-dicarbonyl chloride and 2-aminobenzothiozole,where, M= Ni(ii), Cu(ii) and Zn(ii) alsocomplexes of mix-ligands, the type [M(L)(8-HQ)]Cl, where, M = Ni(ii), Cu(ii) and Zn(ii),8-HQ= 8-Hydroxyquinoline. Chemical forms are obtained from their 1 H, 13CNMR, Mass spectra (for (L)), FT-IR and U.V spectrum, melting point, molar conduct.Using flame (AA), % M is determined in the complexes.The content of C, H, N and S in the (L) and its complexes was specified. Magnetic susceptibility and thermal analysis (TGA) of prepared compounds were measured.The propose geometry for all complexes[M2 (L)Cl4 ] was tetrahedral while for [M(L)(8-HQ)]Cl was octahedral. By the weight loss method in a 0.1M H2 SO4 solution for mild steel,corrosion inhibition of the (L) was evaluated. Anti-bacterial activity of the (L) and theircomplexes was examined for two type of bacteria. TGA studies of ligand and nickel complex show multi-step decomposition pattern of their organic frameworks.

Cadmium Oxide films have been prepared by vacuum evaporation technique on a glass substrate at room temperature. Structural and optical properties of the films are studied at different annealing temperatures (375 and 475) ËšC, for the thickness (450) nm at one hour. The crystal structure of the samples was studied by X- ray diffraction. The highest value of the absorbance is equal to (78%) in the wavelength (530) nm, at annealing temperature (375) ËšC. The value of at a rate of deposition is (10) nm/s. The value of optical energy gap found is equal to (2.22) eV.

This study includes the preparation of the ferrite nanoparticles CuxCe0.3-XNi0.7Fe2O4 (where: x = 0, 0.05, 0.1, 0.15, 0.2, 0.25, 0.3) using the sol-gel (auto combustion) method, and citric acid was used as a fuel for combustion. In this research, hand lay- up technique is used to prepare samples from epoxy resin reinforced with multi- walled carbon nanotubes in different weight fractions (0, 2, 3, 4, 5) wt%. The immersion effect by sodium hydroxide solution (NaOH) at normality (0.3N) for a period of (15 days) on the thermal conductivity of nanocomposites was studied, and compared to natural condition (before immersion).
