Hardly a society is devoid of manifestations of imitating the opposite sex with the disparity between societies in quantity and quality, as imitating the opposite sex is an old phenomenon, and whoever follows what the old researchers wrote on this subject, finds various sayings, some of which lack evidence, being a kind of guesswork, A generalization that is not based on what is evidenced by it, and others consider resemblance to a behavior in which an animal resembles a human being. I will highlight in this research the resemblance to the opposite sex in the cultures of peoples, making the study into three sections. The manifestations of resembling men and women spread in Greek society greatly, and then the second study was devoted to the study of imitating the opposite sex in eastern civilization ,Despite the few texts contained in the eastern sources, they are sufficient to demonstrate the prevalence of imitating the opposite sex. As for the third topic, it reviewed imitating the opposite sex in the Arab and Islamic countries, resulting from the expansion of Islamic conquests, and the entry of peoples into Islam of various nationalities, as well as the The large number of prisoners and slaves who were brought to Arab and Islamic countries helped spread the phenomenon of hermaphroditism and masculinization, as ignorance did not know it, nor did the first century AH, but luxury and a new civilization brought it.

Show More The present study describes a protocol for rapid in vitro micropropagation of Albizia lebbeck during the period of October 2007 to October 2009 through nodal segments containing axillary buds. The buds induced to produce a large number of multiple shoots by culturing on MS medium supplemented with different concentrations of BA (benzyladenine) and NAA (α-naphthalene acetic acid). The maximum number of shoots per explants was obtained on MS medium supplemented with 1.0 mg/L BA and 0.1 mg/L NAA was (4.8) after 4 weeks of culture. Excised shoots were rooted on half strength MS medium fortified with 0.5 mg/L either IBA (indolbutyric acid) or NAA alone. The complete plantlets thus obtained were successfully transferred to soil.
The present study aimed to determine the serum sex hormone levels among Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH) patients before and after 3 months of oral administration of 5-α reductase inhibitor(finasteride). Forty BPH patients and 40 healthy men from Amara city were involved in this study, their ages were between 40-59 year. This study included the estimation of growth rate, viability and morphological changes in different culture media (NNN, P-Y, RPMI- 1640, and Panmed). Promastigotes cultured in RPMI-1640 showed maximal growth rate after (2, 4, 6) days of cultivation (27.26 ± 0.05), (172.20 ± 0.1) and (343.81 ± 1.48) million parasites / ml for each day respectively, while P-Y media gave the highest mean of growth rat after (8 and 10) days of cultivation (307.16 ± 1.67) and (303.5 ± 4.96) million parasites / ml for each day respectively. P-Y medium showed the maximal percentage of viability after (2, 4, 6, 8, and 10) days of cultivation (99.76 ± 0.5) %, (98.30 ± 0.17) %, (96.1 ± 0.1) %, (92.5 ± 0.52) % and (87.26 ± 0.05) % for each day respectively.
