BACKGROUND: Color Vision Deficiency (CVD) is mostly an inherited trait and is not an uncommon problem. Prevalence of CVD differs among different ethnic and geographic properties of the population that affect their genetic constitution. Ishihara plates remain an internationally accepted tool for screening red-green CVD. OBJECTIVE: To determine the prevalence of red-green CVD among adult males from Baghdad province. PATIENTS AND METHODS: One thousand and five (1005) adult males were enrolled in this study, using a systematic sampling technique, and were screened for CVD utilizing 24-plate Ishihara plates and re-tested by EnChroma 39-Color plates. All males were residing in Baghdad and the center of Iraq. RESULTS: Among all tested males, 948 reside in Baghdad province; of them, 64 showed red-green CVD; thus making prevalence rate of 6.75% in Baghdad province. The deutan/protan ratio was 2.79:1. CONCLUSION: Prevalence of CVD among the people of Baghdad lies within the published range for Caucasian males worldwide. Screening children/adult males for CVD from other provinces is recommended.

The current study aimed to measure the attitudes of female teachers towards the use of digital learning and the degree of possessing their digital education skills. The study sample consisted of (180) workers with disabilities (mental disability، auditory impairment، visual disability، hyperactivity and distraction. In this study, we present a new steganography method depend on quantizing the perceptual color spaces bands. Four perceptual color spaces are used to test the new method which is HSL, HSV, Lab and Luv, where different algorithms to calculate the last two-color spaces are used. The results reveal the validity of this method as a steganoic method and analysis for the effects of quantization and stegano process on the quality of the cover image and the quality of the perceptual color spaces bands are presented.
