Electrical and Optical Properties of :H Thin Films Prepared by Thermal Evaporation Method
...Show More Authors

Thin a-:H films were grown successfully by fabrication of designated ingot followed by evaporation onto glass slides. A range of growth conditions, Ge contents, dopant concentration (Al and As), and substrate temperature, were employed. Stoichiometry of the thin films composition was confirmed using standard surface techniques. The structure of all films was amorphous. Film composition and deposition parameters were investigated for their bearing on film electrical and optical properties. More than one transport mechanism is indicated. It was observed that increasing substrate temperature, Ge contents, and dopant concentration lead to a decrease in the optical energy gap of those films. The role of the deposition conditions on values of the optical constants was determined. Accordingly, models of the density of states for the :H thin films as pure, doped with 3.5% of Al (p-type) and that doped with 3.5% As (n-type), were proposed.

Spectroscopic and structural studies of cadmium oxide thin films prepared by D.C magnetron sputtering
...Show More Authors

Cadmium oxide thin films were prepared by D.C magnetron plasma sputtering using different voltages (700, 800, 900, 1000, 1100 and 1200) Volt. The Cadmium oxide structural properties using XRD analysis for just a voltage of 1200 volt at room temperature after annealing in different temperatures (523 and 623) K were studied .The results show that the films prepared at room temperature have some peaks belong to cadmium element along the directions (002), (100), (102) and (103) while the other peaks along the directions of (111), (200) and (222) belong to cadmium oxide. Annealed samples display only cadmium oxide peaks. Also, the spectroscopic properties of plasma diagnostic for CdO thin films were determined and the results show that the el

Effect of Doping on Properties of the Hall Effect and Electrical Conductivity for AgInTe2 Thin Films
...Show More Authors

The effect of different doping ratio (0.3, 0.5, and 0.7) with thickness in the range 300nmand annealed at different temp.(Ta=RT, 473, 573, 673) K on the electrical conductivity and hall effect measurements of AgInTe2thin film have and been investigated AgAlxIn(1-x) Te2 (AAIT) at RT, using thermal evaporation technique all the films were prepared on glass substrates from the alloy of the compound. Electrical conductivity (σ), the activation energies (Ea1, Ea2), Hall mobility and the carrier concentration are investigated as a function of doping. All films consist of two types of transport mechanisms for free carriers. The activation energy (Ea) decreased whereas electrical conductivity increases with increased doping. Results of Hall Effect

Study the effect of thickness and annealing temperature on the Electrical Properties of CdTe thin Films
...Show More Authors

The electrical properties of polycrystalline cadmium telluride thin films of different thickness (200,300,400)nm deposited by thermal evaporation onto glass substrates at room temperature and treated at different annealing temperature (373, 423, 473) K are reported. Conductivity measurements have been showed that the conductivity increases from 5.69X10-5 to 0.0011, 0.0001 (?.cm)-1 when the film thickness and annealing temperature increase respectively. This increasing in ?d.c due to increasing the carrier concentration which result from the excess free Te in these films.

Study the Effect of Zn Doping in the Structural and Electrical Properties of CdTe Thin Films
...Show More Authors

Some of structural ,and electrical properties of pure and zinc (Zn) doped cadmium telluride thin films with impurity percentages (0.5, 1, 1.5)%, deposited on hot glass substrate (temperature equals to 423K) of  thickness of 300nm and rate deposition of 0.5 nm.s-1  by thermal co-evaporation technique under vacuum of (2×10-5)Torr have been investigates. The structural properties for the prepared films were studied before and after. doping process by analysis of the X-ray diffraction, and it appeared that pure and dopant  CdTe thin films are polycrystalline and have the cubic structure with preferential orientation in the [111] direction, and the crystal structure of the films were improved due to doping process. Morphology and Electrical Properties Study of Nanocrystalline Silicon Surface Prepared By Electrochemical Etching
...Show More Authors

In this work, nanostructure porous silicon surface was prepared using electrochemical etching method under different current densities. I have studied the surface morphology and photoluminescence (PL) of three samples prepared at current densities 20, 30 and 40 mA/cm2 at fixed etching time 10 min. The atomic force microscopy (AFM) images of porous silicon showed that the nanocrystalline silicon pillars and voids over the entire surface has irregular and randomly distributed. Photoluminescence study showed that the emission peaks centered at approximately (600 – 612nm) corresponding energies (2.06 – 2.02eV).
While current-voltage characteristics shows, as the current density increase the current flow in the forward bias is decreasi

A Comparison Study the Effect of Doping by Ga2O3 and CeO2 On the Structural and Optical Properties of SnO2 Thin Films
...Show More Authors

This research deals with the effect of gallium oxide and cerium oxide as dopants on the structural and optical characteristics of tin oxide. Gallium and cerium oxide doped tin oxide was prepared with different doping concentrations (0, 0.03, 0.05 and 0.07) wt. pure and doped tin oxide thin films were prepared by the pulsed laser deposition technique. X-ray diffraction and UV-Visible spectrophotometer were employed to investigate both oxides doping effects. Results showed that all prepared samples have poly-crystalline structure with a preferred plane of crystal growth along (110), where the crystal size grew from 40.3 nm to 64.5 nm and to 43.5 nm for Ga2O3 and CeO2 doped tin oxide thin films, res

Linear Optical Properties of Bromocresol Green Dye Doped Poly Methyl Methacrylate Thin Films
...Show More Authors

In this study, we investigated the effect of Bromocresol green dye (BCG) of the PMMA thin films optical properties. Films of Poly Methyl Methacrylate doped by 10% BCG doping ratio to prepared two concentrations 2x10-4 and 6x10-4 M of PMMA-BCG dye were deposited on glass substrate using free casting method at room temperature. The optical properties of the films were determined using UV-Visible absorbance and transmittance spectra at the 300 - 900 nm wavelength range. The linear absorption coefficient and the extinction coefficient were calculated. The results showed that the optical properties were increasing by increasing the dye concentration, while the optical energy gap was decreasing with the doping. Also from
