The aim of the research is to: Analyzing the content of the mathematics textbook of the 5th bio-scientific grade according to the Common Core State Standard for mathematics (CCSSM), and to identify the extent of their inclusion of these standards. To achieve this goal, the researcher built the CCSSM after reviewing the literature that dealt with those standards, and its validity was verified by presenting it to a group of referees specialized in the field of methods of teaching mathematics.    Petioles of nine species and four subspecies for Scutellaria L. which are growing wildly in Iraq were studied anatomically. Systmatic importance for the cross sections of those petioles were found. The winged petioles were seen in all taxa but they were different in their shapes , some of them U – shaped but they were semi ellipsoid in others , also they were different in their numbers of vascular bundles in the wings , and the shapes of central vascular bundles , so those  taxa were divided into groups .

The taxonomy of Ficus L., 1753 species is confusing because of the intense morphological variability and the ambiguity of the taxa. This study handled 36 macro-morphological characteristics to clarify the taxonomic identity of the taxa. The study revealed that Ficus is represented in the Egyptian gardens with forty-one taxa; 33 species, 4 subspecies and 4 varieties, and classified into five subgenera: Ficus Corner, 1960; Terega Raf., 1838; Sycomorus Raf., 1838; Synoecia (Miq.)
