So as the actors, costumes, lightings and accessories represent the physical aspects of the show, they also represent its moral aspect too. Studies on the flexural behavior of post-tensioned beams subjected to strand damage and strengthened with near-surface mounted (NSM) technique using carbon fiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP) are limited and fail to examine the effect of CFRP laminates on strand strain and strengthening efficiency systematically. Furthermore, a design approach for UPC structures in existing design guidelines for FRP strengthening techniques is lacking. However, there is a need to consider multiple criteria in a real life scheduling problem in general. In this paper, we study the problem of scheduling jobs on a single machine to minimize total tardiness subject to maximum earliness or tardiness for each job.
