Dame Ngaio Edith Marsh (1899-1982), a writer of detective fiction, was born

The aim of this work is to study the factors that affect the welding joint of dissimilar metals. The fouling depositions of crude oil stream were studied theoretically in a shell and tube heat exchanger to investigate the effect of depositions on the heat transfer process. The positive and negative impacts of the commensal bacteria on tumours being protective or carcinogenic agents, respectively, and their strategies have also been described.
