Pharmacy faculty members must manage a diverse array of academic responsibilities from home, including lecture and exam preparation, grading assignments, conducting research, supervising undergraduate and postgraduate students, and fulfilling administrative duties. These academic duties require extensive daily hours, extending beyond official work time and negatively impacting faculty members' physical, mental, and social well-being. It also limits time for family, social interactions, exercise, and hobbies. Conclusion After-hour work at home heightens the risk of burnout and fosters a negative perception of pharmacy faculty profession. In response, the faculty are calling for increased financial, moral, and logistical support from the college, university, and ministry. They also recommend enhancing the work environment by providing administrative assistance, raising salaries, funding research, expanding social activities, reducing after-hours electronic communications, and easing workloads by limiting the annual number of admitted students.
