This paper deals with a dilapidated urban part with a proposal to renew it and return it to the life cycle of the city, as in the neighborhood of Al-Mdawar, adjacent to the port of Beirut. It discusses the challenges and the need for renewal, the causes of urban deterioration, the urban development approach and the history of the regulations applied to Beirut, In the studied area. It also proposes solutions to improve its lifestyle based on urban planning tools and design to achieve people's aspirations, preserve identity and rearrange its integration with the Beirut central district area.

    In this work, the spirurid nematode Hartertia gallinarum was reported in the intestine of the spotted sandgrouse, Pterocles senegallus, collected in three different locations: Ga'ara Depression, Iraqi Western Desert, Zurbatiyah and Al-Attariyah, Middle of Iraq. Description and measurements of the nematode were given. The role of termites in the infection of P. senegallus with H. gallinarum was discussed. Occurrence of H. gallinarum in P. senegallus represents a new host record.

Abstract

                 The research aimed to test the relationship between the size of investment allocations in the agricultural sector in Iraq and their determinants using the Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) method compared to the Error Correction Model (ECM) approach. The time series data for the period from 1990 to 2021 was utilized. In this research, the covariance estimates were used to estimate the population mean in the stratified random sampling and combined regression estimates. were compared by employing the robust variance-covariance matrices estimates with combined regression estimates by employing the traditional variance-covariance matrices estimates when estimating the regression parameter, through the two efficiency criteria (RE) and mean squared error (MSE).
