Proposing a Scheme for Human Interactive Proof Test using Plasma Effect
...Show More Authors

Human Interactive Proofs (HIPs) are automatic inverse Turing tests, which are intended to differentiate between people and malicious computer programs. The mission of making good HIP system is a challenging issue, since the resultant HIP must be secure against attacks and in the same time it must be practical for humans. Text-based HIPs is one of the most popular HIPs types. It exploits the capability of humans to recite text images more than Optical Character Recognition (OCR), but the current text-based HIPs are not well-matched with rapid development of computer vision techniques, since they are either vey simply passed or very hard to resolve, thus this motivate that

Pretreated Fishbone as Low Cost-Adsorbent for Cationic Dye Adsorption from Aqueous Solutions: Equilibrium, Optimization, Kinetic and Thermodynamic Study
...Show More Authors

The present study investigated the use of pretreated fish bone (PTFB) as a new surface, natural waste and low-cost adsorbent for the adsorption of Methyl green (MG, as model toxic basic dye) from aqueous solutions. The functional groups and surface morphology of the untreated fish bone (FB) and pretreated fish bone were characterized using Fourier transform infrared (FTIR), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and Energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS),respectively. The effect of operating parameters including contact time, pH, adsorbent dose, temperature, and inorganic salt was evaluated. Langmuir, Freundlich and Temkin adsorption isotherm models were studied and the results showed that the adsorption of basic dye followed Freundlich iso

Energy Generation from Static Water Head Developed By Forward Osmosis
...Show More Authors

In this work, the possibility of utilizing osmosis phenomenon to produce energy as a type of the renewable energy using Thin Film Composite Ultra Low Pressure membrane TFC-ULP was studied. Where by forward osmosis water passes through the membrane toward the concentrated brine solution, this will lead to raise the head of the high brine solution. This developed static head may be used to produce energy. The aim of the present work is to study the static head developed and the flux on the high brine water solution side when using forward and reverse osmosis membranes for an initial concentration range from 35-300 g/l for each type of membrane used at room temperature and pressure conditions, and finally calculating the maximum possible po

Evaluation of Moderate Closed Head Injury by Visual Evoked Response
...Show More Authors

Background: Traumatic brain injury (TBI) is a serious public health problem. Even injuries classified as mild which is the most common, can result in persistent neurobehavioural impairment. Diffuse axonal injury is a common finding after TBI, and is presumed to contribute to outcomes, but may not always be apparent using standard neuroimaging. All severities of TBI can result in a degree of axonal damage, while irreversible myelin damage was only apparent for moderate to severe TBI.

Objectives: To evaluate the effects of moderate closed head injury on visual evoked response (VER) and to assess the changes in VER 6 months later as follow up indices.

Subjects and methods: T

On A Modified SP-Iterative Scheme for Approximating Fixed Point of A Contraction Mapping
...Show More Authors

In this paper, we will show that the Modified SP iteration can be used to approximate fixed point of contraction mappings under certain condition. Also, we show that this iteration method is faster than Mann, Ishikawa, Noor, SP, CR, Karahan iteration methods. Furthermore, by using the same condition, we shown that the Picard S- iteration method converges faster than Modified SP iteration and hence also faster than all Mann, Ishikawa, Noor, SP, CR, Karahan iteration methods. Finally, a data dependence result is proven for fixed point of contraction mappings with the help of the Modified SP iteration process.

Intelligent Approaches for Enhancing Networked Routing Protocol
...Show More Authors

The rapid evolution of wireless networking technologies opens the door to the evolution of the Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) and their applications in different fields. The WSN consists of small energy sensor nodes used in a harsh environment. The energy needed to communicate between the sensors networks can be identified as one of the major challenges. It is essential to avoid massive loss, or loss of packets, as well as rapid energy depletion and grid injustice, which lead to lower node efficiency and higher packet delivery delays. For this purpose, it was very important to track the usage of energy by nodes in order to improve general network efficiency by the use of intelligent methods to reduce the energy
