The  study  was  aims  to  evaluate  the  antimicrobial  acttvtty  of petroleum  ether extracts from  leaves , seeds and root of Zygophyllum fabago   , against   several   microorganisms  including   gram   negative bacteria (Pseudomonas aeruginosa  & Escherichia coli), gram positive bacteria  (Staphylluwccus aureus  & Bacillus  subtilis),  in addition  to yeast (Candida  albicans).

Three mesoporous silica with different functional group were prepared by one-step synthesis based on the simultaneous hydrolysis and condensation of sodium silicate with organo - silane in the presence of template surfactant polydimethylsiloxane - polyethyleneoxide (PDMS - PEO). The prepared materials were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), atomic force microscopy (AFM) and nitrogen adsorption/desorption experiments. In this work pyrazolin derivatives were prepared from the diazonium chloride salt of 4-aminobenzoic acid. Azo compounds were prepared from the reaction of an ethanolic solution of sodium acetate and calculated amount of active methylene compound namely, acetyl acetone to obtain the corresponding hydrazono derivative (1). Cyclocondensation reaction of compounds (1) with hydrazine hydrate and phenyl hydrazine in boiling ethanol affording the corresponding pyrazoline-5-one derivatives of 4-aminobenzoic acid (2,3).
