This study was conducted at the Research Experimental Station of the College of Agricultural Engineering/University of Baghdad in the Al-Jadiriyah area during the autumn season of 2022. The study aimed to investigate the effect of phosphorus addition and zinc spraying on the nutrient content and root growth of the cabbage. The experiment included two factors: the first factor was phosphorus with four concentrations (P25%, P50%, P75%, and P100%) of the recommended complete fertilizer dose (135 kg P2O5 per hectare), and the second factor was zinc spraying with three concentrations (0, 30, and 60 mg.L-1) of zinc sulfate (ZnSO4). The results showed that the phosphorus and zinc treatments had a significant effect on most study indicators. The P75 Z2 treatment gave the highest percentage of nitrogen and potassium, as well as the longest main root length, with values of 3.61%, 2.65%, and 31 cm, respectively, compared to the control treatment. Meanwhile, the P100 Z2 treatment showed the highest root surface area, measuring 33.33 cm2, compared to the control treatment.
In real-life problems, we use square roots in natural distributions such as (the probability density function), distances and lengths in the Pythagorean theorem, and quadratic formulas in (the height of falling objects), radius of circles, harmonic movements (pendulum and springs), and standard deviation in statistics. We have observed that using fuzzy sets in real-life problems is more convenient than ordinary sets. Therefore, they are important in algebraic structures. As a result, more effort has been made to study square root structures in fuzzy sets. This paper introduces the notion of square roots fuzzy of QS-ideals on QS-algebras and some important characteristics. Some illustrative examples have been provided which prove tha

Here the parents role arises: teaching the child the sound food habits and hygienic styles and whatever beneficial to the health and with the sufficient quantities for the body. In this way the experiences the child learns at home will be of great help in his future life in choosing the suitable food after becoming more dependent in making his decisions and choices away from his parents. The results in this study showed that the averages of the children’s consumption of the high energy foods in comparison with the other highest consumption average , after that comes the con sumption of soft drills

The experiment conducted according to Split Plot Design by two factors; the first was addition Nano NPK with five levels (control, addition 7.5 g.plant-1, addition 15 g.plant-1, spray 1 g.L-1, spray 2 g.L-1). The second factor was four levels of Mineral NPK which were (control, 50 g.plant-1, 100 g.plant-1, 50 g.plant-1+1.5 g.L-1) respectively. N3 (spray 1 g.L-1 ) increased plant height, stem diameter first season, branch number se

Background: Thymus vulgaris is a plant rich in essential oils acclaimed for the management of oxidative stress and inflammation in the organs. Meanwhile, the heavy metal lead is widely distributed in nature and continued exposure to lead acetate causes reduced fertility. Objectives: The present study aimed to investigate the effects of T. vulgaris on ovarian and uterine structural and functional characteristics in female rats exposed to lead acetate. Methods: Three groups of 18 mature Wistar albino female rats (Rattus norvegicus), 15 weeks old and weighing between 200 and 210 g, were established and handled for 60 days as follows: Group A (control group) received 0.5 mL of distilled water (DW) daily; group B received 5 mg/kg body weight (BW

Show MoreThe research aims to analysis the future profits of companies listed on the Iraq Stock Exchange through analyzing the relationship between Actual Growth and Sustainable Growth, The study was applied to the sample of companies included in the Iraq Stock Exchange for the period (2010- 2014), The Internal Growth Rate has been used as a measure for the Actual Return Rate but the Sustainable Growth Rate has been measured under the Rose model, The research showed group of conclusions, the most important are:1. From the analysis of sustainable growth for the banks sample and the variables involved in its measure shows that investment in the investors amounts have achieved a significant return, which demonstrates the company's efficiency at gene

Show MoreResults showed high efficiency of the predator Chrysoperla carnea (Stephens) to attack and consume nymphal instars and adults of cabbage aphid, Brevicoryne brassicae (L.).The total average of the nymphal instars consumed by the larval stage of predator were 308.67, 285.9, 198.77, 154.7 for 1st ,2nd ,3rd ,4th nymphal instars respectively .While it was 110,107.9 for apterae and alatae respectively . Also, predation efficiency increases with the progress of the larval instars up to the third (last) which was the most voracious .The 1st instar nymph consumed by the larvae of the predator were 47,80,181.67 nymphs ,with predation rate of 14.71% , 23.75% and 50.13% for 1st ,2nd and 3rd larval instars
