In this paper, we study the peristaltic transport of incompressible Bingham plastic fluid in a curved channel. The formulation of the problem is presented through, the regular perturbation technique for small values of  is used to find the final expression of stream function. The numerical solution of pressure rise per wave length is obtained through numerical integration because its analytical solution is impossible. Also the trapping phenomenon is analyzed. The effect of the variation of the physical parameters of the problem are discussed and illustrated graphically.

The aim of this paper is to derive a posteriori error estimates for semilinear parabolic interface problems. More specifically, optimal order a posteriori error analysis in the - norm for semidiscrete semilinear parabolic interface problems is derived by using elliptic reconstruction technique introduced by Makridakis and Nochetto in (2003). A key idea for this technique is the use of error estimators derived for elliptic interface problems to obtain parabolic estimators that are of optimal order in space and time.

In this paper different channel coding and interleaving schemes in DS/CDMA system over multipath fading channel were used. Two types of serially concatenated coding were presented. The first one composed of Reed-Solomon as outer code, convolutional code as inner code and the interleaver between the outer and inner codes and the second consist of convolutional code as outer code, interleaved in the middle and differential code as an inner code. Bit error rate performance of different schemes in multipath fading channel was analyzed and compared. Rack receiver was used in DS/CDMA receiver to combine multipath components in order to enhance the signal to noise ratio at the receiver.

The research adopted the qualitative approach by using personal interviews with a sample of (45) private school owners and managers in Oman. This study included 50 blood samples collected from children with mean age 8-12 years. Thirty five blood samples were collected from children with Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus (T1D) with mean age 9.4±0.34 years, and 15 blood samples collected from healthy children as a control sample with mean age 10.9±0.38 years. Immunogenetic study was done on collected blood samples. Concentrations of IFN-γ were estimated from T1D patient and control samples by using Elisa instrument. The concentration of this interferon was 1.575 pg/ml in T1D patient sample in comparison with 0.921 pg/ml in control sample. Significant differences of this interferon concentration were found between T1D patient and control samples when Mann-Whitney U test was used

The efficient removal of dissolved organic compounds (DOC) from wastewater has become a major environmental concern because of its high toxicity even at low concentrations. Therefore, a technique was needed to reduce these pollutants. Ion exchange technology (IE) was used with Amberlite^TM IR120 Na, Amberlite^TM IR96RF, and Amberlite^TM IR402, firstly by using anion and mixed bed system, where the following variables are investigated for the process of adsorption: The height of the bed in column (8,10 and 14 cm), different concentrations of (DOC) content at constant flow rate.
