Gene Expression Analysis via Spatial Clustering and Evaluation Indexing
...Show More Authors

The density-based spatial clustering for applications with noise (DBSCAN) is one of the most popular applications of clustering in data mining, and it is used to identify useful patterns and interesting distributions in the underlying data. Aggregation methods for classifying nonlinear aggregated data. In particular, DNA methylations, gene expression. That show the differentially skewed by distance sites and grouped nonlinearly by cancer daisies and the change Situations for gene excretion on it. Under these conditions, DBSCAN is expected to have a desirable clustering feature i that can be used to show the results of the changes. This research reviews the DBSCAN and compares its performance with other algorithms, such as the traditional number of clustering, K-mean particle swarm optimization (PSO), and Grey–Wolf optimization (GWO). This method offers high performance for improvement. The DBSCAN algorithm also offers better results of clusters and gives better performance assessment according to the results shown in this study.

Evaluation of CD14 expression in Helicobacter pylori positive and Helicobacter pylori negative gastritis
...Show More Authors

Monocytes are considered a key mediator of inflammatory cytokine secretions during inflammation. This study evaluates CD 14 expression in gastritis tissue biopsies of H. pylori and none H. pylori gastritis. This cross-sectional study involved 60 gastritis patients that have been classified into H. pylori positive (n=30) and H. pylori negative (n=30). Formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue blocks were sectioned and immune-peroxidase staining with anti-CD14, then compared between study groups and clinical parameters. The results showed a marked difference in the percentage of expression in mild and severe intensity of inflammation sub-groups, the results showed a higher percentage of CD14 immunoreactivity (18.29±5.84 vs. 10.2±3.89, p=0.

Phylogenetic analysis of cpn60 gene from locally isolated Acinetobacter baumannii
...Show More Authors

This study was aimed to analysis phylogenetic tree of the gene cpn60 in Acinetobacter baumannii that was identified in Baghdad. Study included collection two hundred specimens (fifty from UTI, fifty from wound infection , fifty from respiratory tract infection and fifty from otitis infections) . In primary laboratory diagnosis and confirmed by using VITEK- 2 Compact system, twenty isolates of this bacterium were indentified (10%) from total specimens. Extraction of geneteic material to detect target gene by amplification this target gene. DNA
sequencing of all isolates was done. Then alignment of sequencing in NCBI and draw phylogenetic tree by use Geneious 9 software among sequence of locally i

Spatial analysis of population growth in the district of Tuz Khurmatu for (1977-2012)
...Show More Authors

The study population growth of the most important demographic phenomena upon which planners to meet changes in the size of the population increase is through knowledge of the requirements of population growth can be planned for the future. On this basis, Tuz District was chosen for the study of population growth, which set her period (1977-2012), and compared with the growth of the population of the province and the extent of the variation in population growth, according to the administrative units, has touched search numerical and proportional distribution of the population according to the administrative aspects of the judiciary, as well as environmental distribution.

The elimination of the study population growth dramatically

The Effect of Bifidobacterium breve and Lactobacillus salivarius on the Gene Expression Involved in Patulin Biosynthesis Produced by Penicillium expansum .
...Show More Authors

Penicillium expansum produced the toxin patulin in pome fruits. To evaluate the molecular mechanism by which the treatment of probiotic bacteria Bifidobacterium breve and Lactobacillus salivarius could modulate patulin production, three genes involved in the biosynthesis of patulin were measured using real time-PCR technique. The result of this study found that the supplementation with B. brave and L. salivarius down-regulate the relative expression of 6-methylsalicylic acid synthase (msas), ATP binding cassette transporter (ABC) and putative cytochrome P450 monooxygenases (P450-1) as well. Although, there is no effect of some strains on this expression. However, these finding suggested that these bacteria decreased patulin product

Effect of D-Mannose on Gene Expression of Neuraminidase Produced from Different Clinical Isolates of Pseudomonas aeruginosa
...Show More Authors

The present work aimed to investigate the neuraminidase (nan1) gene expression in 32 different clinical isolates of Pseudomonas aeruginosa to explore the role of the enzyme in different types of infection and might give a better understanding of host cell-pathogens interaction. In addition, the effect of monosaccharide D-mannose on neuraminidase gene expression in eight isolates was studied by utilizing a reverse transcription-quantitative polymerase chain reaction (RT-qPCR). The results demonstrated that the highest expression of nan1 gene was in otitis samples (208,913.81) which were significantly higher than that from other infections (P < 0.01). While, the concentrations of gene copies obtained from urin

Broadband satellite is playing a main role in provision global coverage and onboard processing ability over IP networks to assess user applications. In order to lower the cost, get better security, solve IPv4 addressing limitation, expand the expected advantages of modern routing and mobility characteristics; the next-generation satellite systems ought to support IPv6 and seamlessly incorporate with terrestrial networks including wireless local loops. Satellite communication links have a number of limitations compared to terrestrial communications networks such as large delay and high header overhead for IPv6 consumes the bandwidth and causes lower transmission effectiveness; however, the quality of service (QoS) (such as delay, jitter,

Molecular analysis of CFTR gene mutations among Iraqi cystic fibrosis patients
...Show More Authors
Abstract
<title>Background

Cystic fibrosis (CF) is an autosomal recessive multisystem disease that results from mutation(s) of the cystic fibrosis transmembrane conductance regulator (CFTR) gene. More than 2100 mutations and polymorphisms have been reported in this gene so far. Incidence and genotyping of CF are under-identified in Iraq. This study aims to determine the types and frequencies of certain CFTR mutations among a sample of Iraqi CF patients. Two groups of patients were included: 31 clinically confirmed CF patients in addition to 47 clinically suspected patients of CF. All confirmed pa
