Abstract: Background: Drug toxicity and chemotherapeutic side effects negatively impact the quality of life of breast cancer patients. Objectives: to evaluate the efficacy of pharmaceutical Interventions (PI) on quality of life (QOL)Among chemotherapy intake breast cancer women. Method: A pre-post interventional study was carried out at the chemotherapy ward of Alhabobi Hospital in Alnasiriyah City. Eligible patients received comprehensive pharmaceutical care and a self-compiled Breast Cancer Patients Medication Knowledge Guide pamphlet. Each patient received two sessions, the first at baseline and the second after 7, 14, or 21 days depending on the next taking dose of chemotherapy. Each session lasted for approximately 15-30 minutes. Par

Materials &method : A prospective study was arranged to assess the occurrence of postsurgical loco-regional recurrence of breast carcinoma in the Iraqi female patients , a total
number of 91 female patients were assessed during period from Dec.2000 to Dec.2002, the
median period of follow up was two years.
Result : Loco-regional recurrence developed in 20 patients (22%). Chest wall and axilla were th
Objective To highlight the main demographic characteristics and clinical profiles of female patients registered with breast cancer in Iraq; focusing on the impact of age. Methods This retrospective study enrolled 1172 female patients who were diagnosed with breast cancer at the Main Center for Early Detection of Breast Cancer/Medical City Teaching Hospital in Baghdad. Data were extracted from an established information system, developed by the principal author under supervision of WHO, that was based on valid clinical records of Iraqi patients affected by breast cancer. The recorded information regarding clinical examination comprised positive palpable lumps, bloody nipple discharge, skin changes, bilateral breast involvement, tumor

Baghdad City.
Methodology: The current study was conducted on 60 breast cancer women and 40 apparently
healthy subjects to evaluate the levels of estradiol and prolactin "hormones in the serum" of
({premenopausal & postmenopausal}) breast cancer and healthy controle women. Estradiol and
prolactin hormones estimated for all cases by using the IMMULITE 2000 instrument that performs
chemiluminescent immunoassays results are calculated for each sample.Data were analysed using

Introduction: Breast cancer is the most common cancer and the major cause of cancer related deaths among Iraqi women. Due to the relatively late detection of breast cancer, the majority of the patients are still treated by modified radicle mastectomy. Aim: To assess the time lag between diagnosis of breast cancer and mastectomy among Iraqi patients; correlating the findings with other clinicopathological characteristics of the disease. Patients and methods: This retrospective study enrolled 226 Iraqi female patients who were diagnosed with breast cancer. Data were registered on the exact time period between signing the histopathological report and the surgical treatment. Other recorded variables included the age of the patients, their level

Data mining techniques are used to discover the hidden knowledge, unexpected patterns, and new rules from the dataset, which implies a large number of attributes. Methods Data mining techniques manipulate the redundant or simply irrelevant attributes to discover interesting patterns. However, the dataset is processed via Weka (The Waikato Environment for Knowledge Analysis) platform. The OneR technique is used as a machine learning classifier to evaluate the attribute worthy according to the class value. Results The evaluation is performed using

Change in genes that participate in folate metabolism can be linked with different types of malignant tumor, Therefore, this study was conducted to find out the association between methylenetetrahydrofolatereductaseMTHFR gene polymorphisms and risk of breast cancer in a sample of Iraqi patients. One Single Nucleotide Polymorphism ( SNP) including MTHFR C677T was calculated using a tetra primer ARMS PCR experiment assay. The results explained that (MTHFR C677T) consists of three genotype (CC, CT, TT), The CC genotype was the most frequent in patients and control group ( 40.00%) and(60.00%) ,respectively, while the lowest frequency was for TT genotype(26

This study was conducted on 90 samples (45 newly diagnosed breast cancer samples and 45 control group samples), ranging in age from 35 to 70 years. Blood samples were collected from the Alawia Teaching Hospital and the Oncology Teaching Hospital between October 2020 and March 2021. ELISA assessed ROS, GPX, visfatin, IGF-1, vitamin A, leptin, and soluble al-Klotho. The results indicate that the breast cancer patients had significantly higher (ROS 3.57, visfatin 17.44) (ng/mL) (p<0.0001) and leptin 16.11 (ng/mL). In the group of patients, there was a significant increase (p<0.004) compar
