Abstract Purpose of research: The purpose of the article is to conduct a comparative analysis of the concept and types of puns in the Russian and Arabic languages. The main focus is on identifying similarities and differences in the definition of a pun, as well as analyzing its various types in both languages. The purpose of the study is to understand how puns are used to achieve comic or semantic effect in different cultural contexts. Methods: The study includes an analysis of literature providing information about puns in Russian and Arabic. For comparative analysis, methods were used to compare concepts, definitions and types of puns in both languages. The phonetic, semantic and syntactic aspects of the pun are considered, and cultural features are also taken into account. Results: The study revealed similarities and differences in the understanding of puns in Russian and Arabic. Various types of puns are analyzed and the peculiarities of their use in both languages are revealed. Particular attention is paid to the phonetic, semantic and syntactic aspects of this stylistic figure. Conclusion: The conclusion summarizes the results of the study. The main conclusions from the comparative analysis of puns in Russian and Arabic are highlighted, and key differences and similarities are highlighted. The importance of cultural characteristics for the perception and use of puns in each of the linguistic communities is emphasized. Twelve species from Brassicaceae family were studied using two different molecular techniques: RAPD and ISSR; both of these techniques were used to detect some molecular markers associated with the genotype identification. RAPD results, from using five random primers, revealed 241 amplified fragments, 62 of them were polymorphic (26%).
ISSR results showed that out of seven primers, three (ISSR3, UBC807, UBC811) could not amplify the genomic DNA; other primers revealed 183 amplified fragments, 36 of them were polymorphic (20%). The objective of the research , is to shed light on the most important treatment of the problem of missing values of time series data and its influence in simple linear regression. This research deals with the effect of the missing values in independent variable only. This was carried out by proposing missing value from time series data which is complete originally and testing the influence of the missing value on simple regression analysis of data of an experiment related with the effect of the quantity of consumed ration on broilers weight for 15 weeks. They were identified to collect (15) soil samples and some water samples as distributed within the land cover classes of the study area.
