This research study the effect of Titanium dioxide on the tensile properties of
Polystyrene (PS) and Polycarbonate (PC) polymers. The stress – strain curve for pure PS
and pure PC, shows that Young modulus for PS is higher than Young modulus for PC,
because PS have higher ultimate strength than PC.
The addition of TiO2 to PS and PC will reduce the Young modulus and ultimate stress,
because the TiO2 particles will reduces or freeze the orientation of these molecular chain
and reduced the toughness of PC, while when the TiO2 were added to PS, the value of
toughness will be stabilized because TiO2 particles make these chains interlocked and the
mobility of the chains will be restrict.

Ceramic coating compose from a ceramic mixture (MgO, Al₂O₃) and metall (Al-Ni) were produced by Thermal Spray Technique. The mixed ratio of used materials Al:Ni (50%) and 40% of Al₂O₃ and 10% MgO. This mixture was spray on a stainless steel substrate of type (316 L) by using thermal spray with flame method and at spraying distances (8, 12, 16 and 20) cm, then the prepared films were treated by laser and thermal treatment. After that performing a hardness and adhesion tests were eximined. A simple , sensitive and accurate spectrophotometric method for the trace determination of bismuth (III) has been developed .This method is based on the reaction of bismuth (III) with arsenazo(III) in acid solution (pH=1.9) to form a blue water soluble complex which exhibits maximum absorption at 612nm .Beer's law is obeyed over the concentration range of 2-85 ?g bismuth (III) in a final volume of 20 mL( i.e. 0.1 – 4.25?g.mL-1) with a correlation coefficient of (0.9981) and molar absorptivity 1.9×104 L.mol-1.cm-1 .
