This study aims to encapsulate atenolol within floating alginate-ethylcellulose beads as an oral controlled-release delivery system using aqueous colloidal polymer dispersion (ACPD) method. To optimize drug entrapment efficiency and dissolution behavior of the prepared beads, different parameters of drug: polymer ratio, polymer mixture ratio, and gelling agent concentration were involved. The prepared beads were investigated with respect to their buoyancy, encapsulation efficiency, and dissolution behavior in the media: 0.1 N HCl (pH 1.2), acetate buffer (pH 4.6) and phosphate buffer (pH 6.8). The release kinetics and mechanism of the drug from the prepared beads was investigated. All prepared atenolol beads remained floating on 0.1 N HCl (pH 1.2) medium over 24 hours. Besides, high yield beads of 73.07- 84.31% was obtained. Encapsulation efficiencies were in the range of 33.10 % -79.04 %, and were found to increase as a function of increasing drug: polymer mixture ratio and the gelling agent concentrations. Moreover, atenolol release profile from the beads was affected by the pH of the dissolution medium. It was found to be slowest in 0.1 N HCl (pH 1.2) and fastest in phosphate buffer (pH 6.8).The obtained results suggest that atenolol could be formulated as a controlled release beads, using ethylcellulose and alginate as polymers, using ACPD method. Simple and sensitive batch and Flow-injection spectrophotometric methods for the determination of Procaine HCl in pure form and in injections were proposed. These methods were based on a diazotization reaction of procaine HCl with sodium nitrite and hydrochloric acid to form diazonium salt, which is coupled with chromatropic acid in alkaline medium to form an intense pink water-soluble dye that is stable and has a maximum absorption at 508 nm. A graphs of absorbance versus concentration show that Beer’s law is obeyed over the concentration range of 1-40 and 5-400 µg.ml-1 of Procaine HCl, with detection limits of 0.874 and 3.75 µg.ml-1 of Procaine HCl for batch and FIA methods respectively. The FIA average sample throughput was 70 h-1. A

The molar absorption coefficient has been determined for mixture which was (3.223) at wave number (18181.8 cm-1), Also the Quantum Efficiency of the two solvents (ethanol and methanol) and their mixture have been calculated ,which was for mixture spectrum (38.94%) and it was larger comparing with other and solvents. The characteristics of spectrum has been determined by calculating (??) of absorption spectrum for the solvents and its mixture at maximum wave number ( ) cm-1 depending on solvent polarity and the transitions between molecular ene

Industrial product is one of the things of daily use and direct interaction with the user, so the ranges of its association to the user, took a varied and multiple aspects. The user today sees the products as things have specifications related directly to the psychology of the user, so he can reflects his values, principles and ideas on the composition of the total structure of the product, making them a means by which manifested the internal entity's of the user took an external materiality. And then counting the products being things excite positive feelings among different user was a natural result given the complexity of the relationship between the user and the industrial product. So pleasure is one important effects that result fro

The ligand acts as a tridentate for the complexation reaction with all metal ions. The new complexes, possessing the general formula [M(L)Cl]Cl where M=[Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II), Pd(II), Cd(II), Pt(IV) and Hg(II) ] ,show tetrahedral geometry. All complexes ,except Pd(II) complex which has a square planar geometry and Pt(IV) which show an octahedral geometry. The geometry of the prepared compounds has been proposed in another method theoretically by using one of the calculation molecular programs (Hype

The sample consisted of (417) male and female students at King Abdullah II School for Excellence in Salt, Jordan. Two instruments were used to collect the data; A scale of social skills and a scale of self-regulation. The results revealed that the level of social skills was high among gifted students. There were statistically significant differences in the social skills among gifted students according to their academic stage in favor of the secondary stage and according to their gender in favor of female students. There were statistically signific

The prepared complexes were characterized using flame atomic absorption, micoelemental analysis (C.H.N), chloride content (Mohr Method) , FT.IR and UV-Vis spectroscopic, as well as magnetic susceptibility and conductivity measurement. From the above data, the proposed molecular structure for Fe+2, Cd+2 and Hg+2 complexes are tetrahedral geometry while Ag+ complex is trigonal structure.
N-Benzylidene m-nitrobenzeneamines (Schiff bases) were prepared by condensation of m-nitroaniline with aromatic aldehydes. These Schiff bases were found to react with maleic anhydride to give 2-Aryl-3-(m-nitrophenyl)-2, 3-dihydro [1, 3] oxazepine–4, 7–diones and with phthalic anhydride to give 2-Aryl-3–(m-nitrophenyl)–2, 3–dihydrobenz|| 1, 2-e|||| 1, 3] oxazepine–4, 7-diones which were reacted with pyrrolidine to give the anilide–pyrrolidides of maleic acid and phthalic acid.
