The soap content in biodiesel is an important challenge during the production and purification processing of biodiesel. Natural deep eutectic solvents (NADES) have recently attracted considerable interest as an environmentally suitable substitute for traditional solvents in the biodiesel industry. This work investigates the soap removal from the contaminated biodiesel using NADES. Eight choline chloride‐based deep eutectic solvents (DESs) were screened using the conductor‐like screening model for real solvents (COSMO‐RS) to identify the most suitable solvent for soap removal and were validated experimentally. The effect of NADES molar ratio, NADES:biodiesel ratio, mixing speed and extraction ti
In this paper, a compact genetic algorithm (CGA) is enhanced by integrating its selection strategy with a steepest descent algorithm (SDA) as a local search method to give I-CGA-SDA. This system is an attempt to avoid the large CPU time and computational complexity of the standard genetic algorithm. Here, CGA dramatically reduces the number of bits required to store the population and has a faster convergence. Consequently, this integrated system is used to optimize the maximum likelihood function lnL(φ1, θ1) of the mixed model. Simulation results based on MSE were compared with those obtained from the SDA and showed that the hybrid genetic algorithm (HGA) and I-CGA-SDA can give a good estimator of (φ1, θ1) for the ARMA(1,1) model. concentrations of 50-250 mg/l, with resin dose of 0.25-3 g. The maximum ion exchange capacity was found to be 9.74, 9.23 and 9.71 mg/g for Cu2+, Pb2+, and Ni2+ on zeolite respectively, while on purolite C105 the maximum ion exchange capacity was found to be 9.64 ,8.73 and 9.39 for Cu2+, Pb2+, and Ni2+ respectively. The maximum removal was 97-98% for Cu2+ and Ni2+ and 92- 93% for Pb2+ on zeolite, while it was 93-94% for Cu2+, 96-97% for Ni2+, and 87-88% for Pb2+ on puroli
Tetradentate bidentate Schiff base (L1) from 4-amino-1.5-dimethyl-2-phenyl-1.2-dihydropyrazol-3-one and 2-(1H-indol-3-yl)-ethylamine and benzene-1.4-dicarbaldehyde was synthesized and characterized as novel antioxidants. The Schiff base and its metal complexes Mn(II), Co(II),Cu(II), Zn(II), Cd(II) and Re(V) have been characterized by elemental microanalysis, metal content, chloride-containing, molar conductance, FT-IR, 1H-NMR, UVVis spectroscopy, magnetic susceptibility, mass spectra (MS), and thermal analysis (TGA). The structures of the prepared compounds were observed by antioxidant activities of the Schiff bases derivatives were investigated due to the imine group (-C=N-) and promising results were obtained. The results confirmed that c

Show MoreSorting and grading agricultural crops using manual sorting is a cumbersome and arduous process, in addition to the high costs and increased labor, as well as the low quality of sorting and grading compared to automatic sorting. the importance of deep learning, which includes the artificial neural network in prediction, also shows the importance of automated sorting in terms of efficiency, quality, and accuracy of sorting and grading. artificial neural network in predicting values and choosing what is good and suitable for agricultural crops, especially local lemons.
The large number of failure in electrical power plant leads to the sudden stopping of work. In some cases, the necessary reserve materials are not available for maintenance which leads to interrupt of power generation in the electrical power plant unit. The present study, deals with the determination of availability aspects of generator in unit 5 of Al-Dourra electric power plant. In order to evaluate this generator's availability performance, a wide range of studies have been conducted to gather accurate information at the level of detail considered suitable to achieve the availability analysis aim. The Weibull Distribution is used to perform the reliability analysis via Minitab 17, and Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs) by approaching o
