Abstract Lateral Epicondylitis (LE) which has been referred to as the Tennis Elbow as well is a lesion affecting common tendinous origins of wrist extensors due to chronic overuse injury that results in damaging common extensor tendons which join forearm extensor muscles to humerus. The aim of the present evidence-based clinical statement is reviewing scientific evidences for efficacy of a variety of the rehabilitation methods, chronic lateral epicondylitis management. It is focused upon treating chronic lateral epicondylitis and the latest developments in physiotherapy area for managing chronic lateral epicondylitis. Due to the fact that primary physical impairments in the LE are decreased is the strength of the grip, fundamentally due to the pain and motor weaknesses, there is a necessity in designing successful program of rehabilitation that is focused upon the physical impairments and not just the symptoms. Which is why, the main aim of the successful management of the condition is electrotherapy and therapeutic exercise, focusing upon the reduction of the pain at the initial stage and later on enhances the functional outcome. The latest advances in the therapeutic approaches such as the manipulations, sports taping had shown good evidences in LE rehab that mainly focuses on the reduction of the pain. Pain reduction in the early stages is helpful in the process of recovery due to the fact that it motivates client to carry on with the physical therapy. Which is why, the latest advancements in the physical therapy with some approaches such as the manipulation, soft tissue release have good clinical evidences in LE management in addition to other musculo-skeletal conditions.
The condition of elevated concentrations of triglyceride in the blood is called hypertriglyceridemia, which triggers the onset of some physiological disorder. This study was carried out to find the correlation between body weight and hypertriglyceridemia. Out of 518 cases, 342 individuals were underweight, with body mass index (BMI) values of ≤18, while their mean serum triglyceride level was 172.4 ± 25.2mg/dl. This paper presents a robust algorithm for the assessment of risk priority for medical equipment based on the calculation of static and dynamic risk factors and Kohnen Self Organization Maps (SOM). Four risk parameters have been calculated for 345 medical devices in two general hospitals in Baghdad. Static risk factor components (equipment function and physical risk) and dynamics risk components (maintenance requirements and risk points) have been calculated.
