Azo ligand 4-((2-hydroxy-3,5-dimethylphenyl)diazenyl) benzoic acid was synthesized from 4-aminobenzoic acid and 2,4- dimethylphenol. Azo dye compounds have been characterized by different techniques (1H-NMR, UV-Vis and FT-IR). Metal chelates of (ZnII, CdII and HgII) have been synthesized with azo ligand (L). Produced compounds have been identified by using spectral studies, elemental analysis(C.H.N.) and conductivity. Produced metal chelates were studied using mole ratio as well sequences contrast types. Rate of concentration(1×10-4-3×10-4 Mole/L) sequence Beer's law. Compound solutions have been noticed height molar absorptivity. The addendum of ligand and compounds has applied as disperse dyes on cotton fabrics for antibacterial activity of the produced compounds against various bacteria and fungi has investigated. For the gained datum, a tetrahedral geometrical structure has been suggested for each primed complex.
Pathogenic microorganisms are becoming more and more resistant to antimicrobial agents. So the synthesis of new antimicrobial agents is very important. In this work, new 5-fluoroisatin-chalcone conjugates 5(a–g) were synthesized based on previous research that showed the modifications of the isatin moiety led to the synthesis of many derivatives that have antimicrobial activity. 4-aminoacetophenone reacts with 5-fluoroisatin to form Schiff base (3), which in turn reacts with two different groups of aromatic (carbocyclic and heterocyclic) aldehydes 4(a–g) separately to form the final compounds 5(a–g). Proton-nuclear magnetic resonance (¹H-NMR) and Fourier-transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy were used to confirm the chemic

Show MoreThe coefficient of charge transfer at heterogeneous devices of Au metal with a well-known dyeis investigations using quantum model.Four different solvent are used to estimation the effective transition energy. The potential barrier at interface of Au and dye has been determined using effective transition energy and difference between the Fermi energy of Au metal and ionization energy of dye. A possible transfer mechanism cross the potential barrier dyeand coupling strength interaction between the electronic levels in systems of Au and is discussed.Differentdata of effective transition energy and potential barrier calculations suggest that solvent is more suitable to binds Au with dye.
Well dispersed Cu2FeSnSe4 (CFTSe) nanofilms were synthesized by hot-injection method. The structural and morphological measurements were characterized using XRD (X-ray diffraction), Raman spectroscopy, SEM (scanning electron microscopy), and TEM (transmission electron microscopy). Chemical composition and optical properties of as-synthesized CFTSe nanoparticles were characterized using EDS (energy dispersive spectroscopy) and UV-Vis spectrophotometry. The average particle size of the nanoparticles was about 7-10 nm. The UV-Vis absorption spectra showed that the synthesized CFTS nanofilms have a band gap (Eg) of about 1.16 eV. Photo-electrochemical characteristics of CFTSe nanoparticles were studied and indicated their potential application

The MTX was converted to MTX nanoparticles by the modified method based on changing the pH gradually with exposure to ultrasound and shaking , changing the pH with exposure to ultrasound plays an significant role in the formation of nanoparticles, and this is shown in some previous studies. As the change in pH affects the nature of bonding between molecules, as well as the strength of bonding that depends on the change of electrical charges The exposure to ultrasound waves will greatly affect the breakdown of large particles into small particles that reach the level of nanoparticles. The MTX NPs formation was characterized by UV-Vis spectra analysis , Atomic force microscopy (AFM) analysis, Scanning electron microscope (SEM) and Fou

The main heterocyclic compounds (1, 3, 4-thiadiazole, oxazole) etc, 2-amino-5-mercapto-1,3,4-thiadiazole compound (1) was prepared by cyclic closure of thiosemicarbazide compound with anhydrous sodium carbonate and carbon disulfide. Oxidation of (1) via hydrogen peroxide, to have (2) which was treated with chloro acetyl chloride to get (3). Preparation of thiazole ring (4) was from reacting of (3) with thiourea. Synthesis of diazonium salts (5) from compound (4) using sodium nitrite and HCl. Compound (5) reacted with different ester compounds to prepare a new azo compounds (6–8).C

Show MoreA new derivatives of Schiff bases connected with 5H-thiazolo[3,4-b][1,3,4]thiadiazole ring 5a-c were prepared via many reactions starting by treating 1,4-phenylene diamine 1 with chloroacetylchloride to prepared compound 2, then reaction with p-hydroxybenzaldehyde to synthesize compound 3 then, this was reacted with thioglycolic acid and thiosemicarazide to giveN,N-(1.4-phenylene)bis(2-(4-(2-amino-5Hthiazolo[4,3-b][1,3,4]thiadiazol-5-yl)phenoxy)acetamide) 4. Compound 4 was treated with different aromatic aldehydes to give a new derivatives of Schiff bases containing 5H-thiazolo[3,4-b][1,3,4]thiadiazole ring 5a-c. The synthesized compounds were characterized using FTIR spectrophotometer and 1H NMR spectroscopy and the biological activity of

New chalcone derivatives containing isoxazoline moiety have been synthesized. Generally, Chalcones are unsaturated ketones bearing (-CO-CH=CH-) as reactive ketoethylenic group that give the bright yellow colored compounds due to this chromophore group. Firstly, chalcones (IIa-d) have been prepared by cyclocondensation (Claisen-Schmidt condensation) of triphenyl aminobenzaldehyde with different substituted acetophenone in ethyl alcohol to produce a series of chalcones compounds with bright yellow colored as a

The high thermal of many Schiff base and their complexes were useful attributes for their application as catalysts in reactions involving at high temperatures. This thermal behavior of Schiff bases and their complexes was evaluated by TGA/DTG and DTA curves with 10 mass losses related to dehydration and decomposition. This review summarizes the developments in the last decade for thermal analysis of Schiff bases. Therefore, synthesis of Schiff bases and their complexes are reviewe
