In this research, optical absorption data (the imaginary part of the dielectric function Ɛ2 as a function of photon energy E) were re-analyzed for three samples of a-Si:H thin films using derivative methods trying to investigate the ambiguity that accompany the interpretation of the optical data of these film in order to obtainm the optical energy gap (Eg) and the factor (r) which in concerned with the density of state distribution near the mobility edge directly without the need for a pre- assumption for the factor r usually followed in traditional methods such as the Tauc plot. The weather of Iraq has longer summer season compared with other countries. The ambient temperature during this season reaches over 50 ^OC which makes the evaporative cooling system suitable for this climate. In present work, the two-stage evaporative cooling system is studied. The first stage is indirect evaporative cooling (IEC) represented by two heat exchangers with the groundwater flow rate (5 L/min). The second stage is direct evaporative cooling (DEC) which represents three pads with groundwater flow rates of (4.5 L/min). This study was performed by using the unsaturated polyester resin as matrix to the
composite materials with the rice husk as reinforced materials . The research included study
of wear test on the composite material The results show that the, wear is increased with the
increase of applied load and distance slipping and also with time increase . moreover the
shows that the higher value wear rate( 1.91gm/cm) from the load (20) N and the higher value
wear rate (1.43gm/cm) from the higher distance (4cm) and from the higher time (6min) higher
wear rate (5.33gm/cm).
