Abstract The wavelet shrink estimator is an attractive technique when estimating the nonparametric regression functions, but it is very sensitive in the case of a correlation in errors. In this research, a polynomial model of low degree was used for the purpose of addressing the boundary problem in the wavelet reduction in addition to using flexible threshold values in the case of Correlation in errors as it deals with those transactions at each level separately, unlike the comprehensive threshold values that deal with all levels simultaneously, as (Visushrink) methods, (False Discovery Rate) method, (Improvement Thresholding) and (Sureshrink method), as the study was conducted on real monthly data represented in the rates of theft crimes for juveniles in Iraq, specifically the Baghdad governorate, and the risk ratios about those crimes for the years 2008-2018, with a sample size of (128) (Sureshrink) The study also showed an increase in the rate of theft crimes for juveniles in recent years.
A field experiment was conducted at botanical garden of Department of Biology, College of Education for Pure Science (Ibn Al-Haitham), University of Baghdad, during the growth winter season of 2016-2017 to study the effect of different concentrations (0, 10, 20) mg.L-1 of abscisic acid and (0, 50, 100, 150) mg.L-1 of vitamin C and their interaction on some plant hormones of pea plant (Pisum sativum L.). Mixed ligand metal complexes of CrIII, FeIII,II, NiII and CuII have been synthesized using 5-chlorosalicylic acid (5-CSA) as a primary ligand and L-Valine (L-Val) as secondary ligand. From September 2002 to August 2003 monthly samples of fish were collected from two stations at the area of study. The results of the present study showed that the sex-ratio (male: female) was 1:0.95. Sexual maturity was reached by all fishes above 28 cm in total length , the smallest mature male was 21.3 cm in total length and body weight 164 gm. The thin films were prepared and characterized by X-ray diffraction
(XRD), atomic force microscopy (AFM), field emission scanning
electron microscopy (FE-SEM) and UV- visible spectroscopy. The
XRD results showed that ZnO has hexagonal wurtzite structure and
the Fe ions were well incorporated into the ZnO structure. As the Fe
level increased from 2 wt% to 8 wt%, the crystallite size reduced in
