This study was conducted to detect the concentration of lead and cadmium in baby foods, (18) samples were examined, which are the most available from various local markets in the city of Baghdad (at a rate of (9) samples of baby food consisting of cereals and (9) samples of baby foods consisting of vegetables). All samples were examined using an atomic flame absorptiometry (AAS-7000), all results showed the presence of lead and cadmium and the highest concentration value of lead in baby foods consisting of cereals (1.0986) and cadmium in baby foods consisting of vegetables (0.0015) ppm. methods have been developed for the determinationsof tetracycline
hydrochloride (TCH) and doxycycline hyclate (DCH) in pharmaceutical
preparations. The methods are based on diazotization of
metchlopramide and coupling reaction with either TCH or DCH in alkaline
medium to form yellow–orange water soluble dye with absorption maxima

Quadrupole transition rates and effective charges are calculated for even-even Si,
S and Ar isotopes based on sd and sdpf -shell model spaces. Shell model
calculations are performed with sd shell-model space for neutron number (N) ≤ 20
and sdpf shell-model space for N > 20. Excitation out of major shell space are taken
into account through a microscopic theory which allows particle-hole excitation
from the core and model space orbits to all higher orbits with 2 excitation.
Effective charges are obtained for each isotope. The results show a systematic
