This study aimed to fabricate a curcumin@platinum nanohybrid (CUR@Pt NPs) through a green tea–based synthesis method and to evaluate its various functions, including antioxidant, burn-healing, and selective anticancer activities against PANC-1 pancreatic cancer cells. Green tea polyphenols served as natural reducing and stabilizing agents, facilitating an eco-friendly, single-step manufacturing process. Physicochemical characterization confirmed successful nanohybrid formation: a CUR@Pt band appeared at 457 nm in the UV–Vis spectrum, XRD displayed crystalline platinum peaks at 2θ = 46.9°, and 67.0°, matching the (200), and (220) planes, respectively, and TEM images showed well-dispersed spherical nanoparticles with an average size of 50 nm. FTIR spectra showed shifts in O–H and C = O vibrational bands, indicating coordination between curcumin, tea polyphenols, and platinum. DLS analysis indicated a hydrodynamic diameter of 162.2 ± 12.8 nm, with a zeta potential of − 5.6 mV. Antioxidant assessment using the DPPH assay revealed that CUR@Pt NPs had enhanced radical-scavenging activity with an IC₅₀ of 17.58 ppm, compared to 22.45 ppm for free curcumin. In vivo burn-healing tests in mice demonstrated faster wound contraction, with the CUR@Pt group achieving significantly improved closure by day 14, along with increased re-epithelialization and dense collagen deposition similar to silver sulfadiazine (1%). Cytotoxicity assays showed selective anticancer effects against PANC-1 cells (IC₅₀ = 89.4 µg/mL), while normal NIH cells displayed higher tolerance (IC₅₀ = 119.8 µg/mL), indicating a favorable therapeutic index. In conclusion, CUR@Pt NPs are a promising, environmentally friendly nanoplatform that combines the complementary pharmacological effects of curcumin and platinum.
A simple, fast, selective of a new flow injection analysis method coupled with potentiometric detection was used to determine vitamin B1 in pharmaceutical formulations via the prepared new selective membranes. Two electrodes were constructed for the determination of vitamin B1 based on the ion-pair vitamin B1-phosphotungestic acid (B1-PTA) in a poly (vinyl chloride) supported with a plasticized di-butyl phthalate (DBPH) and di-butyl phosphate (DBP). Applications of these ion selective electrodes for the determination of vitamin B1 in the pharmaceutical preparations for batch and flow injection systems were described. The ion selective membrane exhibited a near-Nernstian slope values 56.88 and 58.53 mV / decade, with the linear dy

A series of air-stable complexes with distinctive octahedral moieties was created by equal molar ratio (1:1:1). The formation of these compounds was verified using detecting analysis techniques incorporating mass spectra, which validated the achieved geometries. Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) analysis demonstrated how the ligands (H2L and bipyridyl) are chelated as tridentate (ONO) and bidentate (NN) groups, respectively and the coordination with the metal ions. These films are subjected to thermal treatment under oxygen for different temperatures (150,350 and 550 °C ). The Sn metal transformed to SnO at 350 oC, which was clearly seen via XRD measurements, SnO was transformed to a nonstoichiometric phase at 550 oC. AFM was used to obtain topography of the deposited films. The grains are combined compactly to form ridges and clusters along the surface of the SnO and Sn3O3 films. Films were transparent in the visible area and the values of the optical band gap for (150,350 and 550 °C ) 3.1,
A new azo (LH) ligand was prepared by coupling reaction between, diazonium salt of Sulfamethoxazole, and 8-hydroxyquinoline in a process called diazotization process resulting in azo-ligand [4-((8-hydroxyquinolin-7-yl)- N(4-methylisoxazol-3-yl) benzene sulfonamide]. The azo ligand was identified by using spectroscopic techniques to detect and characterize the formation of ligand and complexes of Ni2+, Pt4+, Pd2+, and Rh3+ metal ions, and to determine the chelating behavior of ligand and also its bind position. All complexes have a [1:1] [M-ligand] ratio and all complexes are nonelectrolytes and most of the complexes have octahedral geometry, while Pd2+complex gave square planer geometry and Ni2+ complex indicate tetrahedral geometry. Show MoreThe role of the green areas lies in being one of the systems that plays the vital role in achieving the environmental dimension besides the socio-cultural body and the economic dimension in the hidden value of ecosystem services. However, many developing countries are characterized by a state of low community environmental awareness, which coincides with the basic need for land for housing and other uses, to take precedence over nature protection strategies. In the absence of clear planning and long-term planning strategies, all this led to abuses and violations of urban land use. In Iraq, the situation became more apparent due to the political, security and social conditions that followed the year 2003. Hence, the resea

Here, we describe the synthesis and full characterisation of a symmetrical tetradentate diamine ligand, 3,3′-((1,2-phenylenebis(azanediyl))- bis(methanylylidene))bis(pentane-2,4-dione) (H₂L), and its neutral square-planar complexes [M(L)] (M(II) = Co, Ni, Cu). The Cu(II) complex crystallised as [Cu(L)]⋅0.5 (pyrazine), adopting a nearly square-planar geometry (τ₄ = 0.06) in the solid state, as confirmed by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. In DMSO solution, UV–Vis spectra revealed reversible axial coordination of two solvent molecules, driving a transformation to a distorted octahedral geometry. Struc
