Two hundred and ten specimens include urine, blood and ear swab were collected from different hospitals in Baghdad city; 85 (40%) isolates were diagnosed as Proteus spp. with (82%), (11.7%) and (5.8%) represented in urine, blood and ear swab specimens respectively. PCR technique was shown 30 (35.3%) isolates were positive for specific Urease C gene that used in rapid detection of Proteus vulgaris. The ability for chondritinase production was checked invetro and invevo, 24 (80%) isolates of P. vulgaris were showed ablity to chondritinase production and the isolate (p17) has higher enzyme activity value to (175.2U/ml). Abstract: The aim of the present work is to measure radon concentration in wood. Solid state nuclear track detectors of type CR – 39 was used as measurement device. Eight different samples of imported and local wood were collected from markets. Samples were grinded, dried in order to measure radon concentrations in it. Cylindrical diffusion tube was used as detection technique. Results show that the higher concentration was in Iraqi sample 1 which recorded (14.02 ± 0.9) Bq / m3, while the less was in Emirates Sample which recorded (5.35 ± 1.2) Bq / m3. From the present work, all wood samples were with lowest concentrations of radon gas than other building materials.

     In this article, we introduce a two-component generalization for a new generalization type of the short pulse equation was recently found by Hone and his collaborators. The coupled of nonlinear equations is analyzed from the viewpoint of Lie’s method of a continuous group of point transformations. Our results show the symmetries that the system of nonlinear equations can admit, as well as the admitting of the three-dimensional Lie algebra. Moreover, the Lie brackets for the independent vectors field are presented. Similarity reduction for the system is also discussed.
