An essential component of food production is nitrogen (N). Crops waste about half of the nitrogen fertilizer input, which is then released into the atmosphere as gas emissions or polluting of aquatic groups. It is necessary to reach manufacture stages that promote world food security in the absence of compromising quality. safety of the environment. It is estimated that by 2050, N pollution levels will have risen 150% from 2010 levels, with the The agricultural sector is responsible for 60% of this growth. In this review fertilizer Nitrogen should take into account while discussing air pollution caused by gases that contain nitrogen, which might result in issues like the greenhouse effect. Nopoint pollution, the involvement of farmer management techniques, the relationship between N fertilizer use, N use efficiency, and regulatory methods to mitigate diffuse pollution brought on by N fertilization. Numerous studies indicate that one of the primary obstacles to achieving habit changes. This study aims to draw attention to the seriousness Considering the necessity for a communication campaign to educate farmers about the current worldwide non-point pollution problem about the implications of their fertilizer management practices and the link between their operations and N pollution
Three isolated bacteria were examined to remove heavy metals from the industrial wastewater of the Diala State Company of Electrical Industries, Diyala-Iraq. The isolated bacteria were identified as Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Escherichia coli and Sulfate Reducing Bacteria (SRB). The three isolates were used as an adsorption factor for different concentrations of Lead and Copper (100, 150, and 200 ppm.), in order to examine the adsorption efficiency of these isolates. In addition, the effect of three factors on heavy metals adsorption were examined; temperature (25, 30, and 37 ?C), pH (3 and 4.5) and contact time (2 and 24 hrs). The results showed that the highest level of lead adsorption was obtained at 37 ?C by E. coli, P, aerugenosa and

Show MoreN, N′- bis[4-hydroxy phenyl] pyromillitdiimide [II] was prepared from the corresponding diamic acid , which was transfered to its new ester by the reaction with chloroethyl acetate [III ], [III] was used to prepare the novel hydrazide derivative [IV] , which was allowed to react with several aldehydes to yield the hydrazones [V – IX]. All the new compounds were synthesized , and characterized by their melting points .HNMR for some of them1FTIR,C,H,N analysis and ,

Calendula officinalis L. (Asteraceae) known as marigold is known to have several pharmacological activities and used for the treatment of several diseases as measles, jaundice, constipation and several inflammations. Marigold flowers contain several chemical constituents mainly flavonoids, triterpenoids and essential oil. In this study marigold flowers cultivated in Iraq had been investigated for its flavonoids content. The study revealed the presence of quercetin and kaempferol glycosides and the absence of myricetin glycosides. The flowers were extracted with ethanol 70% fractionated with different solvent and the flavonoids were isolated by preparative HPLC. The isolated flavonoids were identified by measuring melting points, UV, IR,

This study belongs to the descriptive studies that are interested in monitoring the characteristics of a particular phenomenon to identify its characteristics and characteristics. This study adopted the survey methodology to test the hypotheses of the study and how
... Show MoreBacteria could produce bacterial nanocellulose through a procedure steps: polymerization and crystallization, that occur in the cytoplasm of the bacteria, the residues of glucose polymerize to (β-1,4) lineal glucan chains that produced from bacterial cell extracellularly, these lineal glucan are converted to microfbrils, after that these microfbrils collected together to shape very pure three dimensional pored net. It could be obtained a pure cellulose that created by some M.O, from the one of the active producer organism like Acetic acid bacteria (AAB), that it is a gram -ve, motile and live in aerobic condition. The bacterial nanocellulose (BNC) have great consideration in many fields because of its flexible properties, features

Irrigation with a buried vertical ceramic pipe is known as a very effective in the management of irrigation water. The two- dimensional transient flow of water from a buried vertical ceramic pipe through homogenous porous media is simulated numerically using the HYDRUS/2D software. Different values of pipe lengths and hydraulic conductivity were selected. In addition, different values of initial volumetric soil water content were assumed in this simulation as initial conditions. Different value

Show MoreThe production of power using the process of pressure–retarded osmosis (PRO) has been studied both experimentally and theoretically for simulated sea water vs. river water and deionized water under two cases: the first is for simulated real conditions of sea water and river water and second under low brine solution concentration to examine the full profile of the power- pressure. The influence of concentration polarization (CP) on water flux has been examined as well.
