Polymer composites were prepared using epoxy resin (EP) and unsaturated polyester (UPE) as a blend matrices, which were mixed together in different percentages (starting from 90:10) of (epoxy/polyester) respectively, and ending with (50:50) of (epoxy/polyester). Present study is carried out to evaluate the effect of alkaloids extract of
Amaranthus gracilis on some biological aspects of the house fly Musca domestica to
find out the best way for their control. The highest mortality percentage on eggs of
the house fly was 83.3% at concentration of 10 mg/ml followed by 44.4% and
31.1% at 7.5 mg/ml and 5 mg/ml respectively. Results also referred that the
mortality rates of eggs, larvae, pupae were increased with increasing concentration.

Three isolates of  P. aeruginosa were isolated from burnt patients. The ability of these isolates for adhesion and formation of slime layer were tested, the result showed that all isolates were able to adherence on the smooth surface. The sensitivity of  P. aeruginosa isolates for antibiotics were tested , all isolates were sensitive  to Gentamycin, Piperacillin and Amikacin Ciprofloxacin, and  resist to Tetracyclin, Amoxicillin, Cephalexine , Ceftriaxone.
