Abstract: The marsh areas are spread over vast areas of the Iraqi alluvial plain and within areas of varying width among them. Opinions also differ about the origin of the formation and theories related to the formation of the marsh area and the successive political roles on it. Some specialists attribute it to irregularity in the river sediments of the Tigris and Euphrates rivers during their march towards the Gulf. Arab, and an opinion about the advancement of the waters of the Arabian Gulf towards the north before the borders of 4000 BC. The marsh areas are divided into three main regions (eastern - central and southern), and there are ancient marshes (the Susiana Marshes - the Chaldean Marshes and the Babylonian Marshes), and modern marshes. They are (Hawizeh Marshes - Central Marshes and Al-Himar Marshes), The problem of the study focuses on the lack of setting scientific plans and highlighting the practical geographical, social and engineering role played by the local and central government to ensure the continuity of reviving the marshes and overcoming the obstacles facing them to return them to their natural state that they enjoyed in past eras. The importance of this study lies in the availability of motivations and directions on the part of researchers and institutions. The government responsible for caring for the marsh areas as a center of vitality in the past and present of Iraq. This is what we will highlight in this academic study. Three hundred Iraqi people participated in demographic and attitudes study about red and white meat consumption. The mean age of the participants was 50 SD ± 11 years (mean 30-72); 51% were females and 49% males, mostly in forties who lived ≥ 5 years in Baghdad. The results showed that 80% of individuals prefer red meat. A 90% of people prefer fresh meat compared to frozen and processed meat. A 60% of people buy meat from popular markets. In this study a survey was made on the physical chemical and heavy metals characteristics and microbiological analysis of AL Chibaish marsh during the two months. Water analyses revealed unacceptable values for almost all physiochemical and biological properties, according to WHO standard limits for drinking water.
