The paper is concerned with a linguistic analysis of  the blurbs, used in advertising English and Arabic novels.  A blurb is an advertising persuasive text, written on the back cover of a book. Blurbs of selected novels are chosen as  representative examples. The selected blurbs belong to two languages, Arabic and English. The paper aims at studying the linguistic features that are characteristic of blurbs as advertising texts and making a sort of comparison between English blurbs and Arabic ones. Objective: This study aims to evaluate nurses' practices regarding electronic nursing documentation

Methodology: 40 nurses have been chosen for a pre experimental sample using a non-probability (purposive) method between November 20, 2021, and March 1, 2023. The pretest and posttest comparisons included the same group that had been exposed to the software.

Results : table the nurses' practices toward electronic nursing documentation was described as poor and fair it means that nurses practices need to be improved and developed by an interventional program. there is no significant differences between age, gender and years of employment variables and nurses practices.

     In this paper, a Monte Carlo Simulation technique is used to compare the performance of MLE and the standard Bayes estimators of the reliability function of the one parameter exponential distribution.Two types of loss functions are adopted, namely, squared error  loss function (SELF) and modified square error loss function (MSELF) with informative and non- informative prior. The criterion integrated mean square error (IMSE) is employed to assess the performance of such estimators .
