The gamma camera, along with SPECT and PET scanners, is one of the main imaging technologies in nuclear medicine. A collimator is typically constructed from tungsten to provide high absorption of gamma photon energies. It has a hole or holes for imaging. Gamma rays from a radioactive source within the body are emitted in all directions, while the photons required constructing an image travel through the hole. A scintillator is the most common material used to convert the high energy of gamma radiation into a lowenergy optical photon. These detectors are one of the primary secrets to radio-diagnosis in nuclear medicine. The photomultiplier tube (PMT) is a versatile device with extraordinarily highly sensitivity and response. A typical photomultiplier tube contains a photo emissive cathode (photocathode), focusing electrodes, an electron multiplier, and an electron collector (anode). Conclusion: In the medical imaging area, everyone works to improve the resolution, sensitivity, and size of their devices so that patients can be treated better and diagnoses can be made more accurately. Also, the results of this study suggest that HGC could be a potential way to give better support during surgery.
In this work we study gamma modules which are implying full stability or implying by full stability. A gamma module is fully stable if for each gamma submodule of and each homomorphism of into . Many properties and characterizations of these classes of gamma modules are considered. We extend some results from the module to the gamma module theories.
Total phenols, Proanthocyanidin, Catechin and Epicatechin wrer extracted and determined in ten rachis and leaves of grape varieties (Vitis vinifera L.) namely: Shadda Soudda, Rush Meo, Rossi 5, Kamali, Halawani, Black Monica, Dase Al-Anz, Buhrizi, Rossi 7 and Thompson. through two seasons. The results indicated that the rachis of the tested varieties contain total phenol in concentration (2079.76 and 2557.59), (1458.18 and 2119.89), (2233.01 and 3322.26), (3106.22 and 4613.43), (3251.15 and 4739.05), (1668.88 and 2548.59) and (4163.11 and 6202.90). (3922.22 and 5848.17), (3359.03 and 4915.36) and (1035.45 and 1502.27) mg/kg for the tow seasons, respectively. The rachis of the white grape varieti

The mean concentrations of specific activity for 238U, 232Th, 40K and 137Cs for sediments of the river was 13.5±4.6, 35.2±3.1, 272.2±21.4 and 1.5±0.35 Bq/kg respectively. The findings revealed that the concentration values of natural radionuclides and cesium were below permitted limits. The radiological hazard was compared with a global average (Radium equivalent, absorbed dose rate, radiation hazard index and annual effective dose equivalent) finding it was less

This study aimed to assess the stages of third molars mineralization in relation to chronological age of Iraqi individuals, determine the gender differences and arches (maxillary/mandibular) differences.
Materials and Methods: A total of 300 orthopantomograms of orthodontic patients were collected according to specific criteria and evaluated visually. The developmental stages of maxillary and mandibular third molars were determined according to Demirjian method. T

The diagnosis of this condition is still essentially clinical and there is difficulty in the clinical diagnosis, especially among elderly, children and patients with a typical presentation, so early and accurate diagnosis of acute appendicitis is important to avoid its complications. Objectives: To evaluate the degree of accuracy of Alvarado scoring system in the diagnosis of acute appendicitis.Method: Two hundred patients were admitted to the Alkindy Teaching Hospital from January 2011 to april 2014- presented with symptoms and signs suggestive of acute appendicitis. After examination and investigations all patients were given a score according to Alvarado sc

Objective: to evaluate the accuracy of real time ultrasound compared with the computed tomography in evaluation of maxillary sinusitis.
Patients and materials: This comparative cross-sectional study was done on 42 patients referred for computed tomography examination of paranasal sinuses in Al-Yarmook Teaching Hospital-Baghdad, from October 2012 to February 2013 with patients clinically suggesting an underlying maxillary sinusitis. Ultrasound and computed tomography examinations were carried out on the same day, the ultrasound being the first investigation. The sample of this study consisted of 2
Hyperglycemia is a complication of diabetes (high blood sugar). This condition causes biochemical alterations in the cells of the body, which may lead to structural and functional problems throughout the body, including the eye. Diabetes retinopathy (DR) is a type of retinal degeneration induced by long-term diabetes that may lead to blindness. propose our deep learning method for the early detection of retinopathy using an efficient net B1 model and using the APTOS 2019 dataset. we used the Gaussian filter as one of the most significant image-processing algorithms. It recognizes edges in the dataset and reduces superfluous noise. We will enlarge the retina picture to 224×224 (the Efficient Net B1 standard) and utilize data aug
