The accurate identification of internal and external pressures in thick-walled hyperelastic vessels is a challenging inverse problem with significant implications for structural health monitoring, biomedical devices, and soft robotics. Conventional analytical and numerical approaches address the forward problem effectively but offer limited means for recovering unknown load conditions from observable deformations. In this study, we introduce a Graph-FEM/ML framework that couples high-fidelity finite element simulations with machine learning models to infer normalized internal and external pressures from measurable boundary deformations. A dataset of 1386 valid samples was generated through Latin Hypercube Sampling of geometric and loading parameters and simulated using finite element analysis with a Neo-Hookean constitutive model. Two complementary neural architectures were explored: graph neural networks (GNNs), which operate directly on resampled and feature-enriched boundary data, and convolutional neural networks (CNNs), which process image-based representations of undeformed and deformed cross-sections. The GNN models consistently achieved low root-mean-square errors (≈0.021) and stable correlations across training, validation, and test sets, particularly when augmented with displacement and directional features. In contrast, CNN models exhibited limited predictive accuracy: quarter-section inputs regressed toward mean values, while full-ring and filled-section inputs improved after Bayesian optimization but remained inferior to GNNs, with higher RMSEs (0.023–0.030) and modest correlations (R2). To the best of our knowledge, this is the first work to combine boundary deformation observations with graph-based learning for inverse load identification in hyperelastic vessels. The results highlight the advantages of boundary-informed GNNs over CNNs and establish a reproducible dataset and methodology for future investigations. This framework represents an initial step toward a new direction in mechanics-informed machine learning, with the expectation that future research will refine and extend the approach to improve accuracy, robustness, and applicability in broader engineering and biomedical contexts.
Wireless control networks (WCNs), based on distributed control systems of wireless sensor and actuator networks, integrate four technologies: control, computer network and wireless communications. Electrostatic precipitator (ESP) in cement plants reduces the emissions from rotary kiln by 99.8% approximately. It is an important thing to change the existing systems (wireline) to wireless because of dusty and hazardous environments. In this paper, we designed a wireless control system for ESP using Truetime 2 beta 6 simulator, depending on the mathematical model that have been built using identification toolbox of Matlab v7.1.1. We also study the effect ofusing wireless network on performance and stability of the closed l

This study put to comparison the impacts of ankle dorsi flexion range of motion (DFROM) as well as dynamic balance ability (DBA) in the patients who have CAI using PJM (i.e. passive joint mobilization), a technique typically been used in previous works, and active joint mobilization (AJM), a technique which could have a greater impact on cortical excitability with the spontaneous movement. They are extensively utilized from medical imaging and testing to surgical therapies and the latest aesthetic processes. For medical therapeutic practices, diode lasers have become the ideal laser source for this particular purpose. In the last previous years, semiconductor laser technology has evolved to produce high-repetitions rate near-infrared pulsed lasers diodes that are dependable, low-cost, portable, and small-weight, about few grams. In this paper, we review the recent development and demonstration of diode laser devices for biomedical applications recorded in the latest years taking into account the power, wavelength, and p

Show MoreThe nature of the dark sector of the Universe remains one of the outstanding problems in modern cosmology, with the search for new observational probes guiding the development of the next generation of observational facilities. Clues come from tension between the predictions from Λ cold dark matter (ΛCDM) and observations of gravitationally lensed galaxies. Previous studies showed that galaxy clusters in the ΛCDM are not strong enough to reproduce the observed number of lensed arcs. This work aims to constrain the warm dark matter (WDM) cosmologies by means of the lensing efficiency of galaxy clusters drawn from these alternative models. The lensing characteristics of two samples of simulated clusters in the Λ warm dark matter and ΛCDM

The study opens with an introduction that clarifies some background about Langston Hughes as a poet who writes against slavery and oppression done to the American Blacks during an era which was known for racial segregation in the United States of America. The poet sheds light , in his poetry, upon the role of African Americans in activating hope and optimism to get freedom which has been reached at the end. The first section of the study analyzes the meaning of slavery and segregation as reflected in some selected poems, showing the oppressive face of

In this study, the use of HFE‐7100 as a working fluid in a porous pipe exposed to thermal conditions like solar radiation conditions in Baghdad city was studied. The two‐phase mixture model with Local Thermal Non‐Equilibrium assumption was applied to analyze the flow boiling of a subcooled HFE‐7100 in a vertical pipe filled with high porosity metal foam. The Finite volume approach with MATLAB code was used to solve the governing equations like continuity, momentum based on Forchheimer‐extended Darcy model and energy equations. The results displayed that the heat transfer r

For the new time series model, a new algorithm has been generated. The forecasting process, one and two steps ahead, is discussed in detail. Some exploratory data analysis is given in the beginning. The best model is selected based on some criteria; it is compared with some naïve models. The modified model is applied to a monthly chemical sales dataset (January 1992 to Dec 2019), where the dataset in this work has been downloaded from the United States of America census (www.census.gov). Formation evaluation is a critical process in the petroleum industry that involves assessing the petrophysical properties and hydrocarbon potential of subsurface rock formations. This study focuses on evaluating the Mauddad Formation in the Bai Hassan oil field by analyzing data obtained from well logs and core samples. Four wells were specifically chosen for this study (BH-102, BH-16, BH-86, and BH-93). The main objectives of this study were to identify the lithology of the Mauddud Formation and estimate key petrophysical properties such as shale volume, porosity, water saturation, and permeability. The Mauddud Formation primarily consists of limestone and dolomite, with some anhydrites present. It is classified as a clean for
