In this study lattice parameters, band structure, and optical characteristics of pure and V-doped ZnO are examined by employing (USP) and (GGA) with the assistance of First-principles calculation (FPC) derived from (DFT). The measurements are performed in the supercell geometry that were optimized. GGA+U, the geometrical structures of all models, are utilized to compute the amount of energy after optimizing all parameters in the models. The volume of the doped system grows as the content of the dopant V is increased. Pure and V-doped ZnO are investigated for band structure and energy bandgaps using the Monkhorst–Pack scheme's k-point sampling techniques in the Brillouin zone (G-A-H-K-G-M-L-H). In the presence of high V content, the ban

Lands of this project are considered as a part of the Mesopotamian plain located in between N32⁰ 15′, N31⁰ 30′ and E44⁰ 44’, E44⁰ 20′. Three hydrosequences were disclosed with three transects (T1, T2, T3) in the area of study. The first hydrosequence was perpendicular on the other two sequences. Fifteen pedons were outcropped, five pedons in each transect in addition to eighteen more surface samples to be a total samples of 33 locations. Pedons were morphologically described due to soil survey manual (Soil Survey Staff, 2017). Spatial distribution of soil salinity showed that the

The effects of doping ratio/type on mechanical, dielectric, thermal, and hydrophobic properties were investigated. Acrylic polymer composites containing 5 wt% cement or silica nanoparticles had the lowest abrasion wear rates and the highest shore-D hardness and impact strength. The increase in the inclusion of cement or silica nanoparticles enhanced surface roughness, water contact angle (WCA), and thermal insulation. Acrylic/cement composites demonstrated higher mechanical, electrical, and thermal insulation properties than acrylic/silica composites because of their lowe

Gallium and cerium oxide doped tin oxide was prepared with different doping concentrations (0, 0.03, 0.05 and 0.07) wt. pure and doped tin oxide thin films were prepared by the pulsed laser deposition technique. X-ray diffraction and UV-Visible spectrophotometer were employed to investigate both oxides doping effects. Results showed that all prepared samples have poly-crystalline structure with a preferred plane of crystal growth along (110), where the crystal size grew from 40.3 nm to 64.5 nm and to 43.5 nm for Ga2O3 and CeO2 doped tin oxide thin films, respectively. The ligand was characterized by elemental analysis (CHN),'H-NMR, IR and UV-Vis. The complexes with bivalent ions (Ni, Cu, Zn, Cd and Hg) have been prepared and characterized. The structural diagnosis was established using IR, UV–Visible spectro photometer, molar conductivity, atomic absorption and molar ratio with selected metal ions (Ni2+, Cu2+). The complexes of (Ni, Cu) gave octahedral structural while the complexes of (Zn, Cd, Hg) gave tetrahedral structural. The study of biological activity of the ligand (L) and its complexes (Ni, Cu, Hg) in two deferent concentration (
