All new compounds synthesized by many reactions starting from a product the compounds [I]a,b from reaction of 3-phenylenediamine or 4-phenylenediamine with chloroacetyl chloride, then the compounds [I]a,b reacted with potassium thiocyanate to yield compounds [II]a,b. While the compounds[III]a,b yield from reacted the compounds [I]a,b with sodium azide then the compounds [III]a,b reacted 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition reaction with acrylic acid to give compounds [IV]a,b and the later compounds reacted with phenylene diamine to product benzimidazole compounds [V]a,b . In addition to synthesized acid chloride compounds [VI]a,b by reacted the compounds [IV]a,b with thionyl chloride .Finally reacted the compounds [VI]a,b with different aromatic amines to give amide compounds[VII-X]a,b . The synthesized derivatives characterized viamp. , FTIR, 1HNMR in addition to mass spectroscopy .The liquid crystals properties were studied by using polarized optical microscope (POM) and differential scanning calorimetry(DSC).
New compounds of amids [IV]a-e and Schiff bases [V]f-h derived from 2-amino-1,3,4-oxadiazoles [III] were synthesized and characterized by physical and spectraldata.2-Aamino-1,3,4-oxadiazoles was prepared by the action of bromine on acorresponding semicarbazide [II]( which was prepared by reaction of dialdehyde [I]with semicarbazide hydrochloride ) in the presence of sodium acetate , followed byan intramolecular cyclization . A small number of researches were done in the design and synthesis of enkephalin analogues that are able to resist degradation effect of proteolytic enzymes with good bioavailability and half-lives.Through studying structure activity relationships we tried to incorporate phthalyl group, tryptophan and lysine amino acids in different positions in the basic backbone structure of the naturally occurring opioid Leu5- and Met5- enkephalin, in the hope that such insertion of these amino acids could induce interesting addition in the biological activity of these analogues with enhancement of their bioavailability, in addition to decrease side effects as addiction liability.

The reaction oisolated and characterized by elemental analysis (C,H,N) , 1H-NMR, mass spectra and Fourier transform (Ft-IR). The reaction of the (L-AZD) with: [VO(II), Cr(III), Mn(II), Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II), Cd(II) and Hg(II)], has been investigated and was isolated as tri nuclear cluster and characterized by: Ft-IR, U. v- Visible, electrical conductivity, magnetic susceptibilities at 25 Co, atomic absorption and molar ratio. Spectroscopic evidence showed that the binding of metal ions were through azide and carbonyl moieties resulting in a six- coordinating metal ions in [Cr (III), Mn (II), Co (II) and Ni (II)]. The Vo (II), Cu (II), Zn (II), Cd (II) and Hg (II) were coordinated through azide group only forming square pyramidal
... Show MoreA simple chemistry method approach was used to synthesise new ligand derivate from L-ascorbic acid and its complexes. All of them were water-soluble and are used quite extensively in the medical and pharmaceutical fields. This study synthesised the new ligand derivative from L-ascorbic acid-base using the following steps: A 5,6-O-isopropylidene-L-ascorbic acid was prepared by reacting dry acetone with L-ascorbic acid followed by reacting it with trichloroacetic acid to yield [chloro(carboxylic)methylidene]-5,6-O-isopropylidene-L-ascorbic acid in the second stage. In the third stage, the derivative was reacted with (methyl(6-methyl-2-pyridylmethyl)amine to create a new ligand (ONMILA). This novel ligand was identified using a number
... Show MoreThe compound azobenzen-p,p'-di(2-amine-1,3,4-thiadiazol-5-yl) (A) was formed by reacting 4,4'-(diazene-1,2-diyl)-dibenzoyl chloride with thiosemicarbazide. Ten substituted amino derivatives of azobenzen-p,p'-di(2- amine-1,3,4-thiadiazol-5-yl) were synthesized by reaction of compound (A) with formaldehyde and acetaldehyde to give Schiff base. The compound (A) reaction with sodiumcyanat and potassiumisothiocyanat gave uredo and thiouredo-1,3,4-thiadizol-5-yl. However, its reaction with benzenesulphonyl chloride and 4-methyl benzene sulphonyl chloride gave sulphonamido compounds, while its reaction with acetylchloride and benzoyl chloride gave acetamido and benzamido derivatives. Its reaction with succinic and glutaric acid gave succinamido an

Synthesis of ethyl acetate phenoxazine (2) through the reaction of phenoxazine with ethylchloroacetate, which reacted with hydrazine hydrate to give 10-aceto hydrazide phenoxazine (3), then reacted with formic acid to give 10-[N-formyl acetohydrazide] phenoxazine (4). Reaction of compound (4) with phosphorous pentaoxide or phosphorus pentasulphide to gave 10-[N-methylene-1,3,4-oxadiazole] phenoxazine (5) and 10-[N-methylene-1,3,4-thiadiazole] phenoxazine (6).
Aluminum oxide (ALO) was grafted by acrylic acid monomer (AlO-AM) and then, it was polymerized to produce alumina grafted poly(acrylic acid) (AlO-AP). The prepared AlO-AM and AlO-AP were characterized by Fourier-transform infrared, differential scanning calorimetry , thermogravemetric analyzer and particle size distribution. Adsorption equilibrium isotherms, adsorption kinetics and thermodynamic studies of the batch adsorption process were used to examine the fundamental adsorption properties of phenol (P) and p-chlorophenol (PCP). The experimental equilibrium adsorption data were analyzed by three widely used two-parameters Langmuir, Freundlich and DubininRadushkevich isotherms. The maximum P and PCP adsorption capacities based on t
