The A.C conductivity of three samples of lanthanide oxide : zinc oxide (La2O3)1-x(ZnO)x pellets with different zinc oxide content which were sintered 1273 K temperatures were studied using LRC meters in the frequency range of 50–106 Hz at temperature of 30 °C. The a.c conductivity, was analyzed depending of the universal power law proposed by Jonsher,. The slope of the relation between logarithm of a.c conductivity and angular frequency represent the s value were in the range (0.44-0.77) which found to increase by increasing of zinc oxide content which coincided with the small polaron (SP) model. The dielectric constant ε1 and dialectic loss ε2 where found to show progressive increase by increasing of zinc oxide content. The a.c conductivity showed exponential dependence upon angular frequency for the samples with low zinc oxide content while the conductivity was frequency dependent in the low frequency range by was frequency independent in the high frequency range.
Chemical bath deposition was used to synthesize ZnO nanorods (NRs) on glass and fluorine_doped tin oxide (FTO) substrates. X-ray diffraction was performed to examine the crystallinity of ZnO nanorod. Results showed that ZnO NRs had a wurtzite crystal structure. Field emission scanning electron microscopy images showed that glass sample had rod-like structure distribution with (50 nm) diameter and average length of approximately (700 nm), whereas the FTO-coated glass sample had 25 nm diameter and average length of approximately 950 nm. The direct optical transition band gaps of the glass and FTO_coated glass samples were( 4 and 4.43 eV), respectively. The structural and optical properties of the synthesized ZnO p

The bandgap increment obtained for 9% AlO dopant concentration can be clarified in terms of the Burstein–Moss effect whereas the aluminum donor atom increased the carrier's concentration which in turn shifts the Fermi level and widened the bandgap (blue-shift). Here, we show that the FXR agonist, obeticholic acid (OCA), increases fecal cholesterol excretion and macrophage reverse cholesterol transport (RCT) dependent on activation of hepatic FXR. OCA does not increase biliary cholesterol secretion, but inhibits intestinal cholesterol absorption. OCA markedly inhibits hepatic cholesterol 7α‐hydroxylase (

The prepared ligand was identified by Microelemental Analysis, 1H-NMR, FT-IR, and UV-Vis spectroscopic techniques. Treatment of the prepared ligand with Y(III) and La(III) metal ions in 1:3 M:L ratio in aqueous ethanol at optimum pH yielded a series of neutral complexes with the general formula of [M(L)3]. The prepared complexes were characterized by flame atomic absorption, Elemental Analysis (C, H, N), FT-IR, and UV-Vis spectroscopic methods, as well as conductivity measurements. Intensity of Kα Line was measured for the suspended particles ,also for mixture which consist from Zinc particle blended with Engine base Oil. Calibration Curve was drawn between Ikα line Intensity and Zinc concentration at different operation condition. The Lower Limit detection (LLD) and Sensitivity (m) of Spectrometer were determined for different Zinc Concentration (Wt%). The results of LLD and m for Samples were analyzed at Operation Condition of 30KV,17mA is best from Samples were analyzed at Operation Condition of 25KV,15mA
Zinc Oxide (ZnO) is considered as one of the best materials already used as a window layer in solar cells due to its antireflective capability. The ZnO/MgF2 bilayer thin film is more efficient as antireflective coating. In this work, ZnO and ZnO/MgF2 thin films were deposited on glass substrate using pulsed laser deposition and thermal evaporation deposition methods. The optical measurements indicated that ZnO thin layer has an energy gap of (3.02 eV) while ZnO/MgF2 bilayer gives rise to an increase in the energy gap. ZnO/MgF2 bilayer shows a high energy gap (3.77 eV) with low reflectance (1.1-10 %) and refractive index (1.9) leading to high transmittance, this bilayer could be a good candidate optical material to improve the performance
