Media theories and studies have provided many diligences on the concept of social media and the circle of influence, including the theory of social marketing which deals with how to promote ideas espoused by the elite in a society to become a recognized social value. The emergence of social networks provided a revolutionary breakthrough, taking the media to unprecedented horizons; and giving its users great opportunities to influence and move across borders without restrictions and censorship, except in a relatively limited manner. So, the emergence of social media has created channels of live broadcasting from its audience in a method of development that changes the essence of the known communication theories; and stops the monopoly of the media message industry to convey it to a broader and more comprehensive range, with an influential and interactive capacity that communication experts have not imagined. Therefore, the reform and change movements in our Arab and Islamic world are invited, today, to take advantage of the internet revolution to the maximum extent in the fields of organization, administration, communication, media, political struggle and other aspects of life. Can we understand the historical significance of the internet revolution? Referring to the international experiences in the cases of “Tunisia and Egypt”, the media, according to the social marketing theory, raises awareness among the public - through media campaigns that aim to intensify knowledge to modify behavior by increasing the information sent - to influence the targeted sectors of the public. The media, as well, supports media messages by personal contacts; and continues to present messages in the means of communication. Then, the public becomes interested in the formation of a mental image through information and ideas. Right here, the contactor seeks to form that mental image to link the subject with the interests of the public and its aspirations. In a later step, the organizer begins designing new messages to reach more specific behavioral outcomes as an instance making a decision. Then, it comes the stage of creating specific events to ensure continued interest in a topic, and cover those specific events on the level of media and masses. Afterwards, it is time to urge the public to take an exact action expressing the idea by advocating the adoption of ideas in which communication messages are focused. As a result, who makes the change? The question that must be answered after the repetition of the Tunisian scene in Egypt and the expansion of the “Atlas of Arab Popular Uprisings” is: Does the media play a supporting role in social change by strengthening the public sphere?
The study aimed to identify the importance of time in the Faculties of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Baghdad, as well as to identify the relationship between time management and the level of staff functional performance. The research population consisted of the staff members who work in the Faculties of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls in Al-Jadriya for the academic year 2017-2018. A random sample of 50 staff members from each faculty were selected, that is the total number was (100) staff members. The objective of this study was to investigate the effect of Royal jelly RJ on morphology and motility of mice sperms. Sperms were collected from the cauda region of the epididymis of each 10 mice from the treatment and control groups. Direct activation techniques and evaluation of sperm morphology were carried out. Dhino microscope was used for sperm measurement. The inspection was carried out in Salamatic laboratory for pathological analysis in 2015.The result revealed that all of the sperm function parameters registered significant activation in the treatment group. The study aims at analyzing the inconsistent structural and semantic aspects found in the plays of N.A Ostrovsky. The analysis, that includes all the linguistics schools of thoughts in modern Russian language, is performed chronologically to clarify all the ambiguities that the Russian language learners may face. Different frequency distributions models were fitted to the monthly data of raw water Turbidity at water treatment plants (WTPs) along Tigris River in Baghdad. Eight water treatment plants in Baghdad were selected, with raw water turbidity data for the period (2008-2014). The frequency distribution models used in this study are the Normal, Log-normal, Weibull, Exponential and two parameters Gamma type. The Kolmogorov-Smirnov test was used to evaluate the goodness of fit. The data for years (2008-2011) were used for building the models. The best fitted distributions were Log-Normal (LN) for Al-Karkh, Al-Wathbah, Al-Qadisiya, Al- Dawrah and, Al-Rashid WTPs. Gamma distribution fitted well for East Tigris and Al-Karamah WTPs. Information pollution is regarded as a big problem facing journalists working in the editing section, whereby journalistic materials face such pollution through their way across the editing pyramid. This research is an attempt to define the concept of journalistic information pollution, and what are the causes and sources of this pollution. The research applied the descriptive research method to achieve its objectives. A questionnaire was used to collect data. The findings indicate that journalists are aware of the existence of information pollution in journalism, and this pollution has its causes and resources.
