The current study showed that the plants were collected from 23 geographical locations in Brenaj, Wasit, Iraq. The region was characterized by a great diversity of wild plants spread densely in this region. The results were as follows: 32 families, 149 species. Two types of fin arrays namely vertical fins array and V-fins array on heated vertical base plate are used with different heights and spaces. In this paper the specific activity of 238U, 232Th and 40K
radionuclides were determined by sodium iodide enhanced by
thallium NaI(Tl) detector and assessment the annual effective dose
in samples of powder milk from different companies such as
Almunaish, Seven Caw, Molty and Altunsa for adult available in
Baghdad markets. The specific activity of 40K has the greater value in
all the samples which is in the range of allowed levels globally that
suggested by UNSCEAR. The mean value of annual effective doses
were 0.121, 0.314775 and 0.305 mSv/y for 238U, 232Th and 40K
respectively.

The aim of this study is to uncover the views of female students of Shaqra University towards midterm tests.  A survey of  (42) items distributed in three fields. The study has been applied to a random sample of (421) students from two faculties. The results showed that all three fields have achieved an intermediate level. The results also indicated that there were no statistically significant differences in students’ views of midterm tests due to the specialization or academic level variables.
