Geomechanical Modeling and Artificial Neural Network Technique for Predicting Breakout Failure in Nasiriyah Oilfield
...Show More Authors

Wellbore instability is one of the major issues observed throughout the drilling operation. Various wellbore instability issues may occur during drilling operations, including tight holes, borehole collapse, stuck pipe, and shale caving. Rock failure criteria are important in geomechanical analysis since they predict shear and tensile failures. A suitable failure criterion must match the rock failure, which a caliper log can detect to estimate the optimal mud weight. Lack of data makes certain wells' caliper logs unavailable. This makes it difficult to validate the performance of each failure criterion. This paper proposes an approach for predicting the breakout zones in the Nasiriyah oil field using an artificial neural network. It also presents the optimal mud weight window for this field, which can be used to optimise the mud weights to minimise the wellbore instability issues. The results showed that an artificial neural network is a powerful tool for determining the breakout zones using the input data. The obtaining root mean square error and the determination coefficient were respectively 0.0082 and 0.959, by which the 1D MEM gave a high match between the predicted wellbore instabilities using the Mogi-failure criterion and the predicted breakout using the ANN model. Most borehole enlargements occur due to formation shear failures because of using low mud weights during drilling. The conclusion clarify the1.35 g/cc is the optimal mud weights for drilling new wells in this field of interest with fewer drilling issues.

Phytochemical Screening of Petroleum Ether Fractions by GC/MS and Isolation of Lupeol from Two Different Parts of Iraqi Leucaena leuco-cephala. (Conference Paper )#
...Show More Authors

Abstract

This work is considered the first study for the components of the Iraqi Leucaena leucocephala plant, where the different phytochemical compounds that present in the aerial parts were identified by using the gas chromatography/mass spectrometry technique (GC/MS). The type of the components and their concentration will differ according to the part of the plant used and the method of extraction (hot and cold). This study made a comparison in lupeol concentration that was identified and isolated from petroleum ether fractions of Leucaena leucocephala by using Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry (GC/MS), High-performance thin-layer chromatography (HPTLC), and Preparative High-Performance Li

Evaluation of the Efficiency of Three Different Obturation Techniques to Obturate the Isthmus Area of Roots Canals Prepared by Two Different Instrumentation Techniques (An In Vitro Study)
...Show More Authors

Background: The isthmus is a difficult area in the root canal complex to manage. The research aimed to evaluate the efficiency of three different obturation techniques (lateral condensation, EandQ (thermoplasticized gutta percha system) and Soft Core (thermoplasticized core carrier gutta percha system)) to obturate the isthmus area of roots prepared by two different instrumentation techniques (rotary ProTaper universal and ProTaper Next systems). Material and method: Sixty freshly extracted teeth were randomly divided into two main groups (A and B) of 30 teeth each. Group A was prepared by rotary ProTaper Universal whereas group B was prepared by ProTaper Next system. Each main group was then randomly subdivided into three subgroups of 10 t

The Degree of Student Teachers Acquisition at Sultan Qaboos University in Skills of Teaching Arabic via A Virtual Micro-Teaching Lab Based on their Point of View
...Show More Authors

The study aims to investigate the degree of student teachers at Sultan Qaboos University acquired skills in teaching Arabic via a virtual micro-teaching lab, as well as to reveal the difficulties they faced and their development proposals. To do this, the researchers developed a questionnaire divided into four dimensions: planning, implementation, evaluation, and

ethical values for the teaching profession, in addition to two open-ended questions to identify difficulties and suggestions. It was administered to (30) student teachers. The results revealed that the average degree of student-teacher acquisition of skills was high in its four dimensions. It ranged between (39.2) to (82.2), while the overall average was (56.2).

Currently, there is no established of e-waste treatment in Thi- Qar province, while their creating is increasing every year. It has been well- known that e-waste is a source of environmental degrading and their placement in landfills increases the irreversible climate change. A research model has been developed to link three components: coercive pressure, normative influence, and mimicry, then study their effect on e-waste adopt and continuance intentions. The model was validated using data collected from a field survey of 92 managers of small enterprises in Thi-Qar province.  A questionnaire was developed to collect data. This study analyzes the stylistic features of euphemisms in feminist discourse, based on material from the contemporary Russian press of the period (2015–2025). The central issue lies in how the linguistic devices used to soften the harshness and confrontation in discourse contribute to shaping a distinct feminine communicative style within media discourse, where the context necessitates combining the expression of the author\\'s position with maintaining a harmonious interaction with the wider audience. This study aims to uncover and classify the stylistic mechanisms of euphemism at the lexical-grammatical, syntactic, and pragmatic levels, as well as to determine its role in constructing gendered linguistic behavior. The authors supposed the potentiality of relying on enforcing knowledge in general and the groups suffer from this gap in particular, especially the targeted knowledge to treat its subject.

As enforcing knowledge usually depends on some strategies or choices of organizational orientation among them is learning and training from one side, and communication, as an indicating factor for organizational effectiveness as the authors refer from the other side.
