نهر الخوصر في نينوى في ضوء تقانة التحسس النائي

الخلاصة إن لنهر الخوصر دور اساسي في التاريخ الحضاري لمدينة نينوى الاثرية فأن البحث حول مجرى هذا النهر وتحليل الوضع الجيومورفولوجي السابق له وعلاقته مع الوضع السياسي والاقتصادي السابق للمدينة الاثرية، بالأعتماد على تقنية التحسس النائي وتفسير الصور الجوية، لسهولة توفرها ولتكاملها الهندسي واستعمالاتها المتعددة وتكلفتها القليلة مقارنة مع التقنيات الاخرى، سهل الوصول إلى ان مجرى نهرالخوصر الحالي داخل مدينة نينوى الاثرية هو ليس المجرى الاصلي. كما توصل البحث إلى أن موقع الخندق الخارجي المجاور للسور الترابي هو المجرى الاصلي والذي كان يصب في نهر دجلة عند موقع يارمجة الحالي، وهذا قبل بناء مدينة نينوى وقبل ان يصبح جزء من خطة تصميم شكلها الخارجي. عززت النتائج بعدد من الصور الحقلية لموقع مدينة نينوى، فضلاً عن عدد من المرئيات الملتقطة من برنامج Google Earth لدعم ما انجزناه من خرائط اساسية توضيحية لموقع المدينة الاثرية.

The aim of the research is the detection of heavy metals using (Inductively coupled Plasma ICP) for samples in Tigris river at intakes of water treatment plants Baghdad (Sharq dejla, Al-Wathba, Al-Wahda, and Al-Dora) and samples at Tigris banks near (Al-Adhamya, Al-Shuhda bridge and al-Jadrya).
All the recorded results were fitted with Iraqi standers No. 25 in 1967 for all samples with heavy metals (arsenic Ar, Cadmium Cd, Chromium Cr, Zinc Zn, Lead Pb, Copper Cu, Nickel Ni, Manganese Mn, Ferrous Fe) where all concentration were lower than standard values except Cadmium (0.01- 0.014) in plants intakes and (0.027- 0.048) in river samples while the standard value is (0.005).

Al-Yusifia river was assessed at three sampling stations with study period from Autumn 2010 to the end of Summer 2011. The present investigation was carried out on diversity of fungi and bacteria from Al-Yusifia river, Baghdad city. During the study, a total of 12 fungal genus and 6 bacterial genus were isolated during the year seasons. The dominant fungus at the three stations were Penicillium sp., then Rhizopus and Trichophyton   megninii while the dominant bacteria was Escherichia coli and Klebsiella sp.

This research presents a statistical study of radiation generated from communication towers in the Nineveh Plain region Baghdeda. The intensity of radiation energy was measured at 10 meters away from the communication tower in different locations, using a (1PC XH-901 Dosimeter/ Personal Dose Alarm / Radiation Detector, dosage rate: 0.01 μSv/h to 150μSv/h) to measure the amount of radiation at various times. Zooplankton composition and structure in the Indus River Estuary, Sindh, Pakistan

In this study abundance and composition of zooplanktons in the Indus River Estuary was conducted to examine habitat characteristics and its impact on tiny organisms. Overall 30,656 individuals were identified and segregated into seven major groups including Copepods, Cnidarians, Decapods, Mollusk, Pisces, Amphipods and Chaetognaths. For better understanding they were further divided into eighteen planktonic categories. Among them Lucifer spp. comprises of 52.21% was the most abundant group with a peak appeared in March whereas Chaetognaths were rarely observed in the entire study period.
