A novel series of mixed-ligand complexes of the type, [ML1(L2)3]Clx [M= Cr(III), Fe(III), Co(II),Ni(II), Cu(II), Cd(II) and Hg(II), n = 2, 3], was synthesized using Schiff base (HL1) as main ligand, nicotinamide (L2) as secondary ligand, and the corresponding metal ions in 1:3:1 molar ratio. The main ligand, HL1 was prepared by the interaction of ampicillin drug and 4-chlorobenzophenone. The synthesized mixed ligand complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, UV-Vis, FT-IR,1H-NMR,13C-NMR and TG/DTG studies. This study aimed to isolate and identifye the growth of microorganisms and
their effect on pickled cucumber and cabbage, the study also investigated the effect of
garlic (in the form of segments, chopped or crushed) on the mentioned pickled –food
features . Furthermore, a sense based comparison is made between vinegar-preserved
samples and vinegar-garlic preserved ones.

This study includes collection of 70 swabs samples of burns from patients were
admitted in three hospitals (Baghdad, Al- Numaan and burns injuries Hospital). All
swabs samples were cultured on blood and MacConkey agar media to isolate and
identify pathogenic bacteria according to their morphological , biochemical and
growth characters. Growth of bacteria on selective media showed the following
results: Pseudomonas aeroginosa 44.28% , Klebsiella pneumonia 30% ,
