The current paper aims to investigate the stress distribution developed in Kennedy Class II mandibular distal extension removable partial dentures due to applying a unilateral load condition in both vertical and lateral oblique directions. 3D models of mandible bone and RPD framework were first built based on actual patient data and later exported to ANSYS software to implement the numerical analysis. For realistic analysis, the model considered the frictional contact between the RPD retainers with the teeth and mucosa with the resin denture base by applying the feature of small sliding. To ensure maximum longevity and suitability of restoration, two different metallic RPDs constructed from commercially pure titanium (CP Ti) and cobalt–chromium (Co-Cr) base materials were investigated within the proposed model. It was found that the highest stress value was seen within the Co-Cr framework followed by the titanium framework, particularly within the bar clasp under both loading directions. The principle abutment of the distal extension side carried the highest stress value under both RPD models in both loading cases. Also, it was found that the captured von Mises stress levels within the titanium bar clasps were lower than that in Co-Cr demonstrating both long durability and high flexibility of Ti clasps.
Man has a great role in the development of society in all fields, and therefore the human thought played a great role in its continuous pursuit and insight into the social classes that differ in their privileges, which makes the members of society not reconcile because of that disparity that is not based on human principles, so one class exploits another, and this is what stopped me Rather, it prompted me to choose the topic (class and its impact on society) in order to show the impact of classes on each other negatively and positively, so I work to avoid the first with the recommendations I put forward and offer guidance, and strengthen the second, and after this topic of necessity in a place because of the imbalance and promise of appr

Objective: To compare distal tibia nonunion plating and grafting with and without platelet-rich plasma (PRP) regarding union rate, union time and complications Conclusion: Combining PRP with autologous bone graft results in a higher union rate, less healing duration, less post-operative pain, and more callus formation. (Rawal Med J 202;45:629- 632). Methodology: In this prospective comparative study, 32 patients with nonunion tibia from July 2017 January 2019 were divided into two groups: group A (16 cases) were treated by plating and grafting with PRP and group B (16 cases) were treated by plating and grafting only. Keywords: Tibial nonunion, bone graft, plateletrich plasma. Results: There was higher union rate in group A related to group

This material was reacted with, 4-phenylthiosemicarbazide to give (H3NS3) as a tetradentate ligand H3L. New complex of rhenium (V) with this ligand of the formula [ReO(L)] was prepared. New complexes of the general formula [M(HL)] of this ligand when reacted with some metal ions where: M = Ni(II), Cu(II), Cd(II), Zn(II), Hg(II) have been reported. The ligand and the complexes were characterized by infrared, ultraviolet–visible, mass, 1H nuclear magnetic resonance and atomic absorption spectroscopic techniques and by (HPLC), elemental analysis, and electrical conductivity. Materials and methods: The sample included dental casts of some dental students and orthodontic patients; their age was (18-25) years and having three groups normal, crowding, and spacing dentition groups. The sample was equally divided to three groups normal, crowding, and spacing dentition groups, each group contained 50 maxillary and 50 mandibular casts that were further subdivided by gender; all the stone casts were measured by highly sensitive digital vernier. Results and Conclusions: Non-significant side difference was found in both dental arches in the three studied groups. Males had higher mesiodis

Management of a residual ridge with severe resorption to fulfill the patient’s esthetic and functional requirements is quite difficult for the practitioner and also in the construction of an acceptable appliance. As the height of the edentulous ridge reduces the mandibular denture will be improperly function. Severe resorption of the mandibular alveolar ridge may cause instability and discomfort of the convention acrylic resin denture. Dealing with this condition requires clinical skills and knowledge. Treating the severely resorbed mandibular ridge is a challenging effort for prosthodontics. This research present
