Background: Changes in the indication for splenectomy in hematology, especially in hematological malignancies, has been observed in the last 10 – 15 years. Yet splenectomy, as a diagnostic tool, is still an option in the management of isolated splenomegaly.
Objectives: to describe the outcome of diagnostic splenectomy in the management of 12 patients presenting with isolated splenomegaly.

Gallbladder disease is relatively common and its complications are seen every now and then. One of the rare complications is gallbladder perforation. In our case we were faced with a picture similar to perforation of the gallbladder upon surgical exploration, with empyema of gallbladder and pericholecystic abscess and a stonelocated between the gallbladder and the liver bed (inside the abscess) and no perforation in the gallbladder or fistula with the biliary tree could be discerned.

This work presents an experimental study of heat transfer and flow of distilled water and metal oxide nanofluid Fe₃O₄-distilled water at concentrations of (φ = 0.3, 0.6, 0.9 %) by volume in a horizontal pipe with constant magnetic field. All the tests are carried out with Reynolds number range (2900-9820) and uniform heat flux (11262-19562 W/m²). The results show that, the nanofluid concentration and magnetic intensity increase, the Nusselt number increases. The maximum enhancement in Nusselt number with magnetic nanofluid is (5.4 %, 26.4 %, 42.7 %) for volume concentration (0.3, 0.6, 0.9 %) respectively. An effort is made to study the effect of composite nanocoating using aluminum-9%wt silicon alloys reinforced with different percentage (0.5,1,2,4)wt.% of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) using  plasma spraying. The effect of this composite on corrosion behavior for AA6061-T6 by extrapolation Tafel test in sea water 3.5wt% NaCl was invested. In this research, salbutamol sulphate (SAS) has been determined by a simple, rapid and sensitive spectrophotometric method. Salbutamol sulphate in this method is based on the coupling of SAS with diazotized ρ- bromoaniline reagent in alkaline medium of Triton X-100 (Tx) to form an orange azo dye which is stable and water-soluble. The azo dye is exhibiting maximum absorption at 441 nm. A 10 - 800 µg of SAS is obeyed of Beer^'s law in a final volume of 20 ml, i.e., 0.5- 40 ppm with ε, the molar absorptivity of 48558 L.mol^-1.cm^-1 and Sandell's sensitivity index of 0.01188 µg.cm^-2.
