Many financial institutions invest their surplus funds in stocks, either to obtain dividends or for trading purposes and to obtain profits from the difference between the cost and the selling price, and investment in shares represents an important part of the financial position of financial institutions applying to the common accounting system of banks and insurance companies, in addition to their impact It is clear on the result of the activity of these institutions.The aim of the research is to define what the shares and their types are, and to indicate the accounting treatments needed to move towards the process of adopting the International Financial Reporting Standard No. (9) and its reflection on its financial statements. Its activity and the researchers recommended the need to adopt the International Financial Reporting Standard No. (9) to hold companies accountable, especially that their current book values Do not reflect current market indicators.
The present research was performed to study the qualitative and quantitative composition of epiphytic algae on the aquatic host plant Ceratophyllum demersum L. Four sites in Tigris River, at Wassit Governorate were covered, during the seasons of Autumn 2017, winter 2018, Spring 2018, and Summer 2018. The study also included measuring the physiochemical parameters (temperature of air and water, pH , water level, EC, salinity, TDS, TSS, dissolved oxygen, BOD5, alkalinity, total hardness, calcium, magnesium, total nitrogen, total phosphourus). Corrosion experiments were carried out to investigate the effect of several operating parameters on the corrosion rate and corrosion potential of carbon steel in turbulent flow conditions in the absence and presence of sodium benzoate inhibitor using electrochemical polarization technique. These parameters were rotational velocity (0 - 1.57 m/s), temperature (30oC – 50oC), and time. The effect of these parameters on the corrosion rate and inhibition efficiency were investigated and discussed.
